- To update your contact information, please go to http://www.ZAPPlication.org, and log in to your ZAPP™ account. Click on My Profile in the left -side navigation bar, and edit the information in the profile. Click Update at the bottom of the page to save your changes and make your information current.
Please remove me from your e-mail list.
- If you choose to no longer receive the ZAPP™ weekly announcement e-mail, please follow these steps below:
- Login to your ZAPP™ account from http://www.ZAPPlication.org
- Click on the My ZAPPlications button.
- Scroll down to ZAPP™ Communication and uncheck the first box to the left of "ZAPP™ Show Information."
- Click Save My Settings to save your changes. You will no longer receive the weekly e-mail.
I received two confirmation e-mails after I submitted my application to a show. Was I charged twice?
- If you received two of the same confirmations you have not been charged twice. You will receive multiple confirmation e-mails if you happened to hit the back button during checkout. To verify your transactions please go to your My ZAPPlications page and compare the number you have received on the e-mail receipt with what you see there. Please also check your own records to confirm the transaction--it will appear on your statement as a transaction from ZAPPlication.org™ but will not specify which show with which the charge is associated. If you require a refund, please contact the show administrator--they are the only users who can authorize a refund.
I have not received an e-mail from your site. What should I do?
- Be sure to check your spam and e-mail filters as well as confirming that the e-mail you listed in your ZAPP™ profile is still accurate and up-to-date. Sometimes ZAPP™ e-mails can be routed into your trash or another folder by accident. Also try "white listing" our e-mail address with your e-mail provider: info@zapplication.org and contactzapp@westaf.org. If you have not received a jury notification from the show, contact the show and ask if they have released the notifications yet. In the event that you continue to have problems with ZAPP™ e-mails please contact us for technical assistance.
ZAPP™ Communication Announcements
- ZAPP™ Event Notification via E-mail
Applications listed in this e-mail will hyperlink to the ZAPP™ Web site so that you can access the event information and application immediately.
This type of communication includes announcements of application deadlines and new shows and events on ZAPP™. This e-mail communication will be sent from ZAPP™ management weekly and will announce the deadlines for applications due within 10 days as well as new shows that have recently opened on the site to accept artist applications. You will only receive an event notification e-mail if you have not yet started the event's application, or you have started the application but have not yet submitted it. You will not receive an e-mail if the application deadlines do not apply to you. Applications listed in this e-mail will hyperlink to the ZAPP™ Web site so that you can access the event information and application immediately.
- Event-Specific-Deadline Announcement via E-mail
A participating ZAPP™ art show may wish to send you a personal e-mail reminding you of an application deadline. You will only receive an application-deadline e-mail from an art show if you have not yet started the event's application, or you have started the application but not yet submitted it. You will not receive an e-mail if the application deadlines do not apply to you. Applications listed in this e-mail will hyperlink to the ZAPP™ Web site so that you can access the event information and application immediately.
- Event-Specific Postcard Mailing
New art shows participating on ZAPP™ may wish to send you a postcard about their show and application information.
- ZAPP™-Specific Information and Announcement via E-mail
ZAPP™ management may send you an e-mail to announce or inform you about ZAPP™-related issues such as ZAPP™ technical enhancements and new features, instructions on how best to use the system, and opportunities for artists using ZAPP™. These e-mails will be infrequent.
Protection and Security
- Your contact information will never be sold or distributed to ZAPP™ participating art shows or any third-party vendor without your authorization. All communications are managed by the ZAPP™ management team.
The ZAPP™ and participating art show e-mail communication types listed above are in addition to and separate from communications you will receive from show directors regarding your application for each show.
