Event Policies, Procedures, and the Role of ZAPPlication™

Each show, festival, or fair using ZAPP™ has its own policies and procedures for event management. ZAPP™ is simply an online event-management system that each event uses to administer its application and adjudication processes. When artist applicants have questions about application protocol, fees, requirements, deadlines, or most other issues, the event administrator should be contacted. ZAPP™ team members can only be of assistance to artist applicants if a purely technical issue arises.
You should contact the administrator of the event to which you are applying if you:
- Need to edit an application you already submitted
- Need to speak with someone about deadline dates and/or flexibility
- Need a refund
- Need information about the event's jury process, status, or results
- Have questions about the status your application
- Have questions about application requirements and general event policies
- Have a question about notifications
- Are waitlisted but you do not see a booth number
You should contact a member of the ZAPP™ team at contactzapp@westaf.org if you:
- Experience technical issues during the check-out process
- Have questions about uploading or formatting your images
- Do not see a confirmation message indicating success after you have uploaded your images
- Encounter any error messages or bugs you would like to report
- Have suggestions for system enhancements
- Are unable to navigate the ZAPP™ Web site
As always, the ZAPP™ team is happy to address technical issues as they arise. However, we are simply unable to answer questions about the decisions, policies, and procedures of each event that uses ZAPPlication™.
