Invasion of privacy?

I just got an e-mail from a show stating that their records indicate I have an application ready to submit and they want to make sure I don't miss the deadline. Now I understand and even appreciate their concern, but how can their records show ANYTHING if I haven't submitted it yet?

This means they are able to see MY Zapp page before I've decided what to do. I find this quite disconcerting. Do they know the rest of the shows I have applied to? The ones I am in the process of applying to? Could they, even unconsciously, make decisions based on whether I may have applied to other shows on the same weekend? Can they see images that I have tentatively picked but not yet decided on?

Having all the myriad, well-intentioned jurors around the country making decisions year after year as to whether I can have a job on a certain weekend is stressful enough. Having them know at a given moment what I may be doing BEFORE I apply is a bit too much.

Can this ability to see what I MAY do be changed?

Are you sure the E-mail wasn't from ZAPP itself? A few times I filled out the app, did not submit, then put it aside to await another image. Then I forgot it, and lo, I got an email from ZAPP to say I had an app ready to check out.

Two days before a deadline, the ZAPP™ system automatically sends an email reminder to submit an application if it is in the "started" or "ready for submission" status.

Administrators cannot see any application in the "started" or "ready for submission" status.
