Baltimore

Hi. I live in Austin, Texas and have done a few local shows, but now I'm considering Baltimore in February. I have three young children and couldn't possibly take the week-and-a-half that it would take to drive out, do the show, then drive back. How do other artists handle this kind of situation? I imagine I'd fly, but how to get the rest of my stuff there? Any advice?
