Arts Round-Up 2016 Agreement

Agreement to be bound by rules of the festival: By executing this agreement, Artist agrees to be bound by all rules and conditions set forth in the application and this agreement.

Submitted images are representative: Artist further agrees that images submitted for review by jury are representative of the work to be exhibited at the festival. If the Spicewood Arts Society determines, in its sole discretion, that any work exhibited by Artist(s) does not conform to the standards set forth by Spicewood Arts Society Arts Round-Up, artist(s) agrees to remove such work from the booth space immediately upon request. Artist agrees to remove any media not represented in the submitted images or artist's statements. Failure to remove such work or otherwise comply with all applicable rules and procedures may result in the immediate termination of Artist’s participation, without refund to or recourse by Artist(s).

Use of submitted images, and artist statements by Spicewood Arts Society: The artist retains all copyright privileges to images of their work, and artist statement text, however, artist agrees that images and artist information submitted by the artist(s) may be used by the Spicewood Arts Society for promotional purposes for this and future events sponsored by Spicewood Arts Society. This includes the use in press releases, print, radio, television, the Spicewood Arts Society web site, blogs, and social media.

Permission to photography, or videography during show: Artist grants the Spicewood Arts Society permission to record and publish photographs or videos taken of my booth, my work and me during the Arts Round-Up for purposes related to promotion of Spicewood Arts Society, its events, past or future, in any media.

Art work is created by the applying artist: Artist certifies that he or she has created the works to be displayed and sold and is not an artist representative or wholesaler.

Release of liability: Artist hereby releases the Spicewood Arts Society from any and all liability on account of personal injury or property damage caused by any cause. Artist agrees to indemnify Spicewood Arts Society if it suffers any loss or damage on account of any act in their part.

Tents to be safe: Artist is responsible for making their tent sturdy against wind, rain etc. Tents MUST be manufactured of flame –retardant materials.

The artist understands that the Spicewood Arts Society does not carry insurance to cover artwork and/or personal property. As an independent contractor, exhibiting artists are advised to obtain their own insurance.

Refund policy: Artist understands that there will be no refunds made after September 15, 2015.
