Legal Agreement for Colorado Springs Art & Music Festival 2017

Read all Rules of Show, category descriptions and this legal agreement carefully. Exhibitor's paid booth fee is an indication that the exhibitor agrees to and will abide by all Rules of Show as posted on this application. 

Selection of exhibitors remains the exclusive right of Colorado Event Design and the results are final. Jurors reserve the right to limit categories and reject work deemed unsuitable.  Anyone misrepresenting entries or breaking any rule during the festival may be asked to leave with no refunds to be issued.

 

If selected, images of exhibitor's work submitted may be used online, in brochures, media releases, grant applications and reports, and other organizational collateral to market the festival and promote my work (unless the exhibitor expressly omits a particiular artwork, all work is considered for such marketing purposes; and photographs of exhibitor's work and booth taken during the festival may be used to market future festivals.



No refunds will be issued for cancellation by the artist for any reason, however, consideration may be given to be issued a credit for a future Colorado Event Design show, on a case by case basis. Exhibitors are required to show a valid Colorado Special Event Tax License (that is separate from a Colorado Retail Sales Tax License) and valid proof of exhibitor insurance. The information has been provided about how to obtain these in this show application. Exhibitors are required to remit Colorado Springs city tax at the end of the show (forms will be provided. 

 

By submitting this application, the exhibitor certifies that this legal agreement has been understood and agrees to abide by all Colorado Springs Art & Music Festival Rules of Show.  Exhibior also understands that failure to follow any of the regulations can mean expulsion from the event with no fees refunded.  

 

I hereby release and forever discharge Colorado Event Design, and the Colorado Springs Art & Music Festival organizers, sponsors and the City of Colorado Springs; and all of their directors, officers, employees, agents and volunteers from any liability for any damage, injury or loss to any person or goods which may arise from the rented park space and/or participation in the Colorado Springs Art & Music Festival.
