Cherokee Triangle Art Fair 2018 Agreement

All items must be hand-crafted by the exhibitor.  Items made using pre-formed molds, kits, or items made by others will not be accepted.  If these types of objects are available for sale in a booth, the artist will either be asked to remove them or will be asked to leave the show and forfeit their booth fee.

All mediums must be juried.  If an artist wishes to include more than one medium in their booth, an example of each must be submitted with their application.

Artists may not engage in any performance, demonstration or sales outside of their booth area, or in any other manner exceed their allotted booth space, without express advance permission by the Artist Committee. Engaging in any such activity will result in the artist being asked to leave the show and forfeit their booth fee.

Artists may only show work in categories and body of work selected by the Jury. All work exhibited must be of the quality, category and body of work of that shown in the images juried. If the Committee feels that items in a booth are not typified by the photos sent to the Jury, the artist will be asked to leave the show and forfeit their booth fee.

Each artist must submit a separate application, unless applying as a team. If artists are accepted as a team they may only exhibit the collaborative work they were accepted for. For collaborative work: no more than two artists may collaborate on work. Both must be included on and sign the application. Both must be present at the Art Fair.

The Art Fair is a two-day event.  If an artist chooses to leave prior to the end of the Art Fair, they will not be asked to return in future years. Emergency departures will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. The Art Fair is held rain or shine. Artists are expected to remain for the entire show unless severe or dangerous weather forces closure by the Art Fair Committee.  There will be no refund of the fee in the event of emergency closure or cancellation.

There are no refunds of booth fees after March 31, 2018.

Artists are responsible for insuring their property and equipment. Our insurance does not extend to individual artists' belongings. All items are exhibited at the artist's own risk.

Artists must follow directions given by the Art Fair Committee and volunteers. They are there to help, and to make the weekend run as smoothly as possible. Refusing to comply with directions, traffic procedures, and event guidelines may result in the artist being asked to leave the show and forfeit their booth fee.

Dogs and other pets are not allowed in the fair, with the exception of service animals.
