Wood County Invitational Art Show 2018 Agreement

Security and Safety

The Wood County Invitation Art Show has a long history of being a safe and fun event. We have had few incidents of damage or theft over our long history. We take safety and security very seriously. We expect all patrons and artists to cooperate fully with our policies.

We provide 24 hour security. In addition we staff the festival with paid Police officers.

The Festival is not responsible for any loss or damage to the property or person of the artist. While 24-hour security is provided, the Festival assumes no responsibility for loss or damage. It is the responsibility of the artists to provide insurance for their work and person.

It is important that the artists cooperate with the festival staff at all times.

Images, Artwork, and Media

With the artist's permission, the Wood County Invitational Art Show and the larger event, the Blacks Swamp Arts Festival, may use artists' images  submitted during application and other promotional materials (including photographs and videotapes taken during the Festival) for purposes of promoting the Festival this year and subsequent years. The artist's full name will always been included with the use of the artist's images and, when possible, their website.

In applying, the artist agrees to abide by all rules, policies, and decisions fully as they are listed in the entirety of the festival representation on Zapplication.

In the interest of preserving the integrity of the Festival, the safety of the patrons and artists, and the financial insterests of the artists attending; the Festival reserves the right to close any booth in such a case that either the booth or the artists are not abiding by our policies.
