ArtOrlando 2018 DEADLINE EXTENDED TO SEPTEMBER 19, 2018. ALL MEDIUMS OPEN. Agreement

Laws/Codes/Rules - Applicants must comply with all Spirit Media, LLC, municipal and state laws, rules, regulations and policies listed in this application, or policies included in the applicant acceptance notification.  Any noncompliance will cause elimination and applicant may be immediately removed from the Festival with no refund of fees or compensation for expenditures. Applicants also may be barred from acceptance to future Spirit Media, LLC events. Spirit Media, LLC, in their sole discretion, may reserve the right to refuse participation by any applicant, entertainer, food vendor or any other such participant for any reason.

 



Hold Harmless - By completing application and engaging in participation, all applicants release and hold harmless Spirit Media, LLC the City of Orlando, Waterford Lakes Town Center,  Orange County, the State of Florida, and all event sponsors from any and all liability, as outlined in the rules and regulations.

 



Acts of God. (“Force Majeure.”) - No failure or omission by the Parties in the performance of any obligation of this Agreement will be deemed a breach of this Agreement or create any liability if the same will arise from any cause or causes beyond the control of the Parties caused by Acts of God, including, but not limited to, war, acts of terrorism, civil commotion, fire, hurricane,  tropical storms, flood, earthquake or unusually severe weather conditions, government regulations or orders issued by any governmental authority or by any law enforcement department, agency or instrumentality thereof. The affected Party shall notify the other Party of such force majeure circumstances as soon as reasonably practical and shall promptly undertake all reasonable efforts necessary to cure such force majeure circumstances within a period not to extend beyond one year (365 days).

 


Images - Artists agree that images provided will be used for the jury process and may also be used for specific event-related publicity.  Any other proposed image usage will be arranged through separate consent agreement with the artist. Event participants agree to allow use of videos and photographs taken at event for promotional purposes.  Any photos taken by the event are the property of the festival.
