Artfest in the Pines 2019 - 21st Annual #ArtFestPines Agreement Release of Liability: I understand and will comply with the Arts & Crafts Festival rules and certify that the submitted information is correct. I agree that I am an independent contractor and not the CITY's employee for all purposes I also hereby waive and forever release the CITY from and against any and all liability and responsibility in connection with the above mentioned matters and further agree not to sue or seek any money or damages from CITY in connection with the above mentioned matters. I agree at all times to indemnify, hold harmless and, at the CITY's option, defend or pay for any attorney selected by the CITY to defend the CITY, its trustees, elected and appointed officers, agents, servants and emplyees, from and against any and all claims, demands, losses, liabilities, expenditures or causes of action of whatsoever kind or nature, and the resulting losses costs, expenses, reasonable attorneys' fees, liabilities, damages, orders, judgments, or decrees, sustained by the CITY or any third party arising out of, or by reason of, or resulting from my negligent acts, errors, or omissions.  Nothing shall be considered a waiver of the CITY's sovereign immunity as provided in Section 768.28, Florida Statutes. In consideration of the City of Pembroke Pines acceptance of my application, I hereby authorize the City to use images of me including, but not limited to, photographs taken during the festival for purposes of promoting the festival this year and in future years, particularly for the website, www.ppines.com and social media outlets.
