STANWOOD CAMANO ARTS FESTIVALS "Summer Arts Jam" 2019 Agreement

By submitting your application, you agree to the following:



Liability Disclaimer - Applicants must comply with all  Stanwood Camano Arts Festivals (SCAFS), Stanwood Camano Art Festival, municipal and state rules, regulations and policies listed in this application, or policies included in the applicant acceptance notification. Any noncompliance will cause elimination and applicant may be immediately removed from the Festival with no refund of fees or compensation for expenditures. Applicants also may be barred from acceptance to future Stanwood Camano Arts Festivals (SCAFS) events. Stanwood Camano Arts Festivals (SCAFS), the Stanwood Camano Art Festival and the City of Stanwood, WA in their sole discretion, may reserve the right to refuse participation by any applicant, entertainer, food vendor of any other such participant for any reason. City of Stanwood, WA and Stanwood Stanwood Camano Arts Festivals (SCAFS), the Stanwood Camano Art Festival  are not liable for refunds or any other liabilities whatsoever for applicant's failure to obey the rules and regulations or due to the unstable condition of the area in which the Festival is produced, caused by, but not limited to, weather, fire or other calamity, any act of nature, public enemy, strikes, statutes, ordinances of any legal authority or any other cause beyond Stanwood Camano Arts Festivals (SCAFS), the Stanwood Camano Art Festival  control. By fulfilling application and engaging in participation, all applicants release and hold harmless the City of Stanwood, WA, the Stanwood Camano Arts Festivals (SCAFS), the Stanwood Camano Art Festival, Snohomish County, the state of Washington, and all event sponsors from any and all liability, as outlined in the rules and regulations. 
 


The Stanwood Camano Arts Festivals (SCAFS) , the Stanwood Camano Art Festival, the City of Stanwood, and their agents assume no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged articles. Every reasonable precaution will be taken to prevent such occurrences, but the artist must assume full responsibility. 



Artwork submitted and exhibited in my booth is my original work.



By submitting an application, I understand I may not be accepted and that my application is subject to a jury evaluation (selected by SCAFS) along with all other booth artist applicants in my media category. If notified, I may be placed on a wait list unless I notify Stanwood Camano Arts Festivals (SCAFS), the Stanwood Camano Art Festival that I would like to be taken off of this wait list. 



Deadline for a refund in booth fees is 100% refund if by June 1st, 2019 & 50% refund if by June 15th, 2019 and no refund will be offered after June 16th, 2019 We apologize that there can be no exceptions to this deadline.



Booth Artisans exhibit their work at their own risk. Though SCAFS hires roaming security for the Stanwood Camano Art Festival during the overnight hours, we assume no responsibility for lost, stolen, damaged art or other artist property.



By submitting this application, artist agrees that they have $1,000,000 in liability insurance and understand they are personally responsible for any damages and payments or all claims that may result from their participation in the Stanwood Camano Arts Festivals (SCAFS) production of the event the Stanwood Camano Art Festival. The Stanwood Camano Arts Festivals (SCAFS) and the Stanwood Camano Art Festival will not be responsible for damage to work or setup due to weather or unrelated incidents.



Booth Artisans must obey all safety codes, local and state laws. This includes, but is not limited to, fire, safety and parking regulations.



The Stanwood Camano Art Festival  is a "rain or shine" event. Booth Artisans agree to be available during Stanwood Camano Art Festival hours, regardless of weather. In preparation for possible inclement weather, Stanwood Camano Arts Festivals (SCAFS) producers of the Stanwood Camano Art Festival suggest that all canopies are secured with weights appropriate to endure Pacific Northwest Weather (minimum of 50lbs).



I, the Artist/Vendor, agree*:


  • To hold harmless Stanwood Camano Arts Festivals(SCAFS), the Stanwood Camano Art Festival, City of Stanwood, and their agents from and against all liability that may accrue to the undersigned as a result of participation in the Stanwood Camano Art Festival.

  • To abide by the rules and regulations stated above and on the attached information sheet.

  •  To be responsible for handling my own money and reporting my own sales tax.

  •  *Sign the agreement on Application Form. **Applications online, along with your photos and non-refundable jury fee, constitutes an agreement on the part of the applicant to the terms and conditions of this application and Artist Guide.
