Handcrafters - Tinsel & Treasures Holiday Market 2019 Agreement
GENERAL RELEASE AND ACCEPTANCE OF RULES
This contract covers any and all shows listed to which exhibitor(s) apply or are accepted. I/we the applicant(s) have read the “CONDITIONS OF THE SHOW” printed as part of this licensing application/contract and agree to abide by said conditions. In addition, I/we, the applicant(s), do expressly release the Producer (Handcrafters Unlimited) and the Owners of the Show Sites of and from any and all liability for any damage, injury or loss to any person, business or property which may arise from the licensing and occupation of the exhibit space by the applicant(s), and agree to hold and save the Producer and owners of the Show Sites harmless of any damage, injury or loss by reason thereof. I/we understand that outside of the non refundable $8 jurying fee, if this application is not accepted, no space fees will be charged. In addition, I/we give permission to use my name, business name, image descriptions, item prices, and any images or videotape of me or my items for any and all purposes in return for the public exposure I/we desire for me and my creations.
CONDITIONS OF THE SHOW
1.) Exhibitors may not sublet or apportion space to anyone else. No booth sharing.
2.) No dealers or sales representatives are allowed.
3.) Exhibitors may only show work typified by photos submitted. Late additions must be presented to jury
committee 30 days prior to event.
4.) The exhibitor’s booth must be open and staffed during all exhibiting hours. Anyone arriving late,
leaving before closing, or breaking down during show hours will be asked to leave and will not be
invited back to future shows. All money forfeited. No refunds.
5.) A $40.00 fee will be charged on any check returned by exhibitor’s bank. Any foreign check processing fees charged by our bank will be billed to the exhibitor at cost.
6.) Exhibitor’s booth must have a suitable backdrop to block the view of walls, storage areas or other exhibitors’ booths. All of exhibitor’s booth and display, including chairs, must be placed within the confines of the space. Nothing is to be placed in the aisles.
7.) Exhibitor is responsible for any damages caused by exhibitor or exhibitor’s display to facility, show
property, or another exhibitor’s display or property.
8.) All exhibitors are responsible for keeping their area clean during show hours, including final clean-up at
the end of the show. All displays should be neat, clean and tables must be covered on all exposed
sides and include a free standing backdrop.
9.) State sales tax for the duration of the show must be paid accordingly and payment is the responsibility of

SAK JONES LLC DBA HANDCRAFTERS UNLIMITED ® will not be liable for refunds or any other liabilities whatsoever for the failure to fulfill this contract due to reasons of the location in which show is held before, or during the show if destroyed by fire or other calamity, or by any act of God, public enemy, strikes, statutes,
ordinances, or any legal authority, or any cause beyond its control.
11.) Exhibitors shall be liable for delivery, handling, erection and removal of their displays and materials.
12.) Exhibitors found in violation of any of the items in this contract will be excluded and have their
exhibits removed from the current and/or future SAK JONES LLC DBA HANDCRAFTERS UNLIMITED ® shows at the sole discretion of the show manager. No refunds will be provided. Under no circumstances, including
negligence, shall SAK JONES LLC DBA HANDCRAFTERS UNLIMITED ® be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages resulting from such action.
13.) The show manager will require the removal of items considered to be in violation of these conditions
and reserves the right to make final interpretation of all conditions.
14.) If any section, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this licensing application/contract is, for any
reason, held invalid or unconstitutional by any court or competent jurisdiction, such portion shall be
deemed a separate provision and such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions.
15.) This contract shall be deemed to have been made in the State of Michigan and shall be interpreted in
accordance with the laws of such state. In the event that legal action is required to enforce this
contract or any of the terms thereof, such action shall be brought in the Courts of Genesee County,
Michigan, and the process is such action by ordinary mail sent to their business addresses.
16.) This contract constitutes the entire agreement between SAK JONES LLC DBA HANDCRAFTERS UNLIMITED ®, and the exhibitor and no modification shall be valid unless in writing and signed by the parties or their representatives.
17.) Failure to follow these rules or abusive behavior to show volunteers or employees will result in
immediate termination of your participation in the show.
18.) Spaces not occupied by 6:00 pm on set-up day may be filled with standby exhibitors with no refund or allowance whatsoever.
19.) Insurance, if desired by the exhibitors, must be obtained by them at their own cost.
20.) All extension cords used at the show must be the heavy-duty, three wire type. No two wire extension cords are allowed.
22.) Once accepted into a show, refunds will not be provided unless otherwise stated.
23.) Exhibitors packing up prior to show close and or violating any other stated show rules and regulations will be permantly removed from all SAK JONES LLC DBA HANDCRAFTERS UNLIMITED without refund and banned from all future events.
