Rockford Art Museum Greenwich Village Art Fair 2019 Agreement

ARTIST RELEASE FORM



As an applicant to the Rockford Art Museum Greenwich Village Art Fair and by accepting an invitation to participate, I agree to the following terms and conditions, which include but are not limited to:



All work shown will be displayed in a professional manner.



All work shown will be original and the work of the registered exhibitor.



Commercially produced prints will only be displayed in one flip bin and only if clearly marked as prints.



Booths may not be closed, or items packed, until after the designated closing time of the art fair.



Work not representative of jury images will be removed immediately if requested by art fair officials.



All booths will be professional in appearance and tables covered to the ground.



Tents must be a white, 10'x10' canopy with sides and adequate weights attached.



All cars must be parked in designated artist parking areas. No vehicles or trailers may be parked on the Riverfront Museum Park grounds.



Vehicles must be unpacked and removed from the art fair grounds by 9 a.m. each day of the show.



Vehicles may not re-enter the the designated art fair grounds until after public closing hours of the event and ONLY at the discretion of event staff.



Applicant further understands that any and all application/jury fees are non-refundable in whole or part. All other fees may be eligible for a full refund of the amount received, minus a $50 processing fee. Request must be made in writing such as an email, fax, or certified mail on or before June 30. Refund requests made or received after June 30 will not be processed and are ineligible for a refund.



As a participating artist I further agree to discharge, release, indemnify, and hold harmless the Rockford Art Museum Greenwich Village Art Fair, Rockford Art Museum, Rockford Park District, City of Rockford, Riverfront Museum Park, their respective board of directors, officers, employees, and any of their partners, agents, representatives, successors, and assigns, and all co-sponsors from any and all manner of causes of action, suits, product liability, losses, damages, or claims including reasonable attorney's fees, whatsoever arising now or in the future from any injury, loss, damages or claims, to the person or property of the applicant which are not caused by the negligence of the above named organizations and agents 1) while in the possession or under the supervision of the sponsors during the event; 2) while entering, leaving, parking, or parked; and 3) while artwork is stored or being transported in or out of storage in the buildings located at Riverfront Museum Park, Rockford, Illinois.



Applicant/participant also agrees to hold harmless those named above from any damage to the applicant's property or any personal injury which he/she or helpers may sustain during set-up, dismantling, or while participating in the Rockford Art Museum Greenwich Village Art Fair. I also understand that Greenwich Village Art Fair (nor above named parties) does not carry insurance to cover personal property and as an independent contractor, participants are advised to carry their own insurance.



The applicant's submission for jury is consent to the terms and conditions of the event as set forth above.
