Black Swamp Arts Festival 2019 Agreement Security and Safety The Black Swamp Arts Festival has a long history of being a safe and fun event. We have had few incidents of damage or theft over our long history. We take safety and security very seriously. We expect all patrons and artists to cooperate fully with our policies. The Black Swamp Arts Festival provides 24-hour security. During Festival hours, we have additional police officers present. The Festival is not responsible for any loss or damage to the property or person of the artist. While 24-hour security is provided, the Festival assumes no responsibility for loss or damage. It is the responsibility of the artists to provide insurance for their work and person. Images, Artwork, and Media With the artist's permission, the Black Swamp Arts Festival may use artists' images submitted during application and other promotional materials (including photographs and videotapes taken during the Festival) for purposes of promoting the Festival this year and subsequent years. The artist's full name will always be included with the use of the artist's images and, when possible, their website. By applying to the Juried Art Show, the artist agrees to abide by the Black Swamp Arts Festival rules and regulations, policies, and decisions fully, as they are listed in the entirety of the festival's representation on Zapplication. In the interest of preserving the integrity of the Festival, the safety of the patrons and artists, and the financial interests of the artists attending, the Festival reserves the right to close any booth if the booth does not meet safety or other Festival standards or if the artist(s) does not abide by Festival policies.
