Equity Statement

Phoenix Center for the Arts understands the broader meaning of equity as: Access to the resources needed to thrive such as education, employment, healthcare, food, clean water, housing, and arts & culture.

The board, staff, instructors, and volunteers are committed to equitable practices in everything we do. Our actions to strive for more equitable practices may include, but not be limited to:

• Listening to the needs of our vastly diverse community

• Aspiring to educate those who work with us, using tools such as readings, videos, etc.

• Addressing any inequitable behavior not in alignment with our core values



Agreement

I have read the application instructions and vendor requirements and agree to their terms and conditions. I certify that all work submitted is my own original creation and that images and descriptions are representative of my artwork. I agree to hold Central Arts Alliance and Phoenix Center for the Arts harmless for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from my participation in this event. I assume all responsibility for my artwork and display. I agree to follow the rules and decisions of festival management should the festival close because of inclement weather or any other reason. I agree that jury decisions are final. I will allow the festival to use images in promotional materials and to use photos and videos taken during the festival for promotional purposes this year and in future years. I will abide by setup and breakdown rules. I understand that festival management has the right to disqualify work that doesn’t meet festival standards and that such work will be removed from the display immediately. I understand that failure to comply with any of the requirements may mean removal from the festival and/or not being allowed to participate in the future. I understand that festival management may revise the regulations and may terminate the agreement, at its sole discretion. I will abide by the decisions and regulations of the Phoenix Festival of the Arts Committee. I release Central Arts Alliance, the Phoenix Festival of the Arts and the City of Phoenix from any loss or damage to my person or property or that of my associates while at the Phoenix Festival of the Arts. I understand the application fee is non-refundable.
