Blue Ridge Heritage Weekend Craft Fair 2019 - 1st Annual Agreement

- I hereby acknowledge that I am 18 years years or older.



- Tent set-up is allowed during set hours on Friday, 21 June 2019. THERE IS NO SET-UP ALLOWED DURING SHOW HOURS and vehicles/trailers must be off the grounds and into designated parking area NLT 9:00 am Saturday. 

- The show goes on rain or shine; the artist is responsible to make his/her own arrangements for inclement weather.


-  Any merchandise left overnight Friday in the tent, and exhibited on Saturday will be at the artist's own risk.  - BRHW Craft Fair provides security for the artists and works on the grounds from 6 am - 6 pm Saturday. BRHW does not carry insurance to cover artist's personal property. As an independent contractor artist is advised to obtain his/her own insurance.



ART PRESENTATION REQUIREMENTS:

- Present and sell Original artwork only.

- Adhere to absolutely no buy-sell.

- Handle all sales and collect sales tax.

- Sell no artwork produced mostly by assistants, with commercial kits, molds patterns, plans, prefabricated forms or other commercials methods.

- Assure any commercially-made embellishments are subordinate to the handcrafted work.

- Finished upcycled/recycled artwork pieces must show a manipulation of the materials and originality in design or they will be deemed ineligible.

- No copyrighted designs not owned by the craft artist may be used.

- No commercially manfactured artwork are allowed (e.g., coffee cups, calendars, stickers, etc.)

- Assure all displayed work is for sale or commission, with prices clearly marked.

- Agree to use no prerecorded or amplified live music of any kind in and around booth space.  Out of respect for exhibiting neighbors, disruptive sounds, smells or other distractions are not allowable.  



Reproduction standards for an artist's one-of-a-kind work:

- Original work must be clearly visible and of primary importance.

- All reproductions must be signed and numbered, excluding photographs (which must only be signed).

- All reproductions whether framed or unframed must be clearly and individually labeled "Reproduction" or "Limited Edition Reproduction".

- All reproductions whether framed or unframed must be displayed in browse bins - limited to one (1) bin per booth.  No reproductions may be hung on walls.



- BRHW Craft Fair expects full and accurate disclosure by the craft artist of materials and methods used in his/her work.



- BRHW Craft Fair reserves the right to remove any work, which in its judgement does not reflect the caliber of the work presented in the digital images, or work considered to be in poor taste.



- No applicant will be excluded from participation from BRHW Craft Fair sponsored events on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, disability or age.
