The Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge invites you to apply to the 1st Round FestForAll deadline. Join us as a juried artist of FestForAll, a celebration of visual and performing arts May 5-6, 2012. A Baton Rouge tradition since 1974, FestForAll - a festival for all – has garnered a reputation as one of Louisiana’s premier arts events attended by thousands.
Features like demonstrations by master craftsmen, performing arts, the Children's Village, a variety of Louisiana cuisines, live music (from blues to classical), and of course an exceptional representation of fine arts and crafts, make this arts festival one of the region’s finest.
FestForAll is located in downtown Baton Rouge, providing one of the most beautiful settings in the South for a two-day outdoor arts festival. FestForAll is free and open to everyone. We hope you will join us this year!
$7OOO + in Awards
The FestForAll jury is comprised of fine arts and fine crafts professionals appointed by the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge. FestForAll jurors base their decisions on craftsmanship, originality, venue compatibility and appropriate mix of media.
$200 1st round booth payment is refundable until February 17, 2012. Booth fees are to be paid by check or money order. Please make payable to the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge, 427 Laurel Street, Baton Rouge, LA 70801.
Artists must provide a suitable outdoor display unit no larger than 10 ft. x 10 ft. Accepted artists will receive an information packet regarding festival layout, site assignment, setup procedure and other pertinent information prior to the festival.
Open to all artists 18 years of age or older living in the U.S. Original work created by the Applicant Artist may be submitted. Only media submitted for review and accepted by the jury can be presented and sold at FestForAll.
Two artists may apply together only if both artists collectively produce the artwork. Include a clear description of each artist’s involvement.
Photography must be from the Applicant Photographer’s original negative or original digital image and produced or supervised by the Applicant Photographer. The photographs must be archival quality.
Printed works must be produced from hand manipulated screens, plates, or stones by the Applicant Printmaker.
Ineligible items include :
Ineligible items include: items made from store-bought kits or molds; manufactured items that have been assembled; t-shirts; CDs; audio/video tapes; and offset printing to include reproductions such as, giclee, digital reproductions, postcards, calendars, and posters of the Applicant Artist’s originals.
Any artist or vendor perceived as having rude behavior and/or creating a hostile environment will be required to pack up and leave the festival site and will forfeit their eligibility for future participation.

- Arrowmont & Pi Beta Phi Alum Club Award: Complimentary workshop at the prestigious Arrowmont School of Arts & Crafts in Gatlinburg, TN.
- FestForAll Bucks: As part of Arts Council membership benefits, members receive FestForAll Bucks to spend specifically with the FestForAll visual artists!
- Buyers’ Bonuses: Each time visitors spend increments of $30 with FestForAll's visual artists, they will be entered to win prizes by bringing their receipts to the Visitor Information Booth.
