General Information
The 13th Annual Easton Art Affair is one of Ohio’s premier Fine Art/Fine Craft shows. In 2010 Easton Art Affair was listed in the top 50 shows in the United States by Artfair Source Book. The show is held on the streets of the “Entertainment Forum” of Columbus, Easton Town Center, which is visited by over 68,000 patrons per weekend. Our location, marketing and advertising are aimed specifically to customers eager to purchase fine and unique works of art. The people and location make this show a success year after year!

Huff-Burch Promotions, developer and organizer of Easton Art Affair, has 39 years of experience in the Art show industry. Now in it’s 13th year, Easton Art Affair is our only show we produce, so extensive attention is given to all details, ensuring the exhibitor experiences a very hassle free and financially successful show! ELIGIBILITY
We seek to maintain the highest standards for both artist and the viewing public. Participation is open to artists in all Fine Art and Fine Craft medias.

Exhibitor must provide the jury with 4 photos that are representative of their work. The photos must not have a name on them for the jury is confidential and done with numbers only. A photo of the booth is mandatory for jury, and must show the entire booth, photoshop imagery of your booth will not be acceptable.

Artists wishing to exhibit work produced in more than one category must submit an application, images and application fee for each category. Only one booth fee is paid. Jewelry, for example, cannot be exhibited with another medium without being accepted thru the jury process in the jewelry category.

To enter, simply complete the application at www.Zapplication.org, there will be a $25 non-refundable application fee.
Booth fee: 10 x 10 $300, 10 x 20 $600,

Zapp system by credit card or with a check made payable to Huff-Burch Promotions

A Wait List will be formed for those categories that are full, you will be notified of a cancellation and will have the option to accept our invitation at that time.

Refund policy: no refunds of booth fees will be given after May 1st, cancellation must be made in writing or email.


MEDIA CATEGORIES

Ceramics: Original clay and porcelain work excluding jewelry. If multiple pieces of the same design are displayed, the artist must sign each piece.

Digital Art: Original work for which the original image, or the manipulation of other source material was executed by the artist using a computer. Traditional photographs taken through a camera should apply as photography.

Drawing and Pastels: Original work created using dry media including chalk, charcoal, pastels, pencil, wax, crayon, etc. or from the fluid medium of inks and washes applied by pen or brush.

Fiber: All work crafted from fibers, including basketry, embroidery, weaving, tapestry and papermaking.

Glass: All handmade glass items.

Jewelry: All jewelry produced from metal, glass, clay, fiber, paper, plastic, or other materials must be entered in this category. No commercial casts, molds or production studio worked is allowed.

Metalwork: Includes all non-sculptural, non-jewelry works crafted from metals.

Mixed Media: This category includes works, both 2D and 3D, which incorporate more than one type of physical material to produce. This includes non-sculptural work only.

Painting: Works created in oils, acrylics, watercolor, etc. are in this category.

Photography: The camera is the primary source of the imagery and ends with a 2-dimensional print. Photographers are required to disclose their creative and printing processes.

Printmaking & Graphics: Printed works for which the artist hand-manipulated the plates, stones, or screens.

Sculpture: Three-dimensional original work created in any medium.

Wearable Art: Handmade hats, belts, clothing of any kind apply in this category

Wood: Original works in wood that are hand-tooled, machine-worked, turned or carved.

Other: Should be used for mediums that do not fit into the above categories. Artists in this category must provide a detailed description of their process and materials.


SET-UP:
Thursday night 9:00pm-11:30pm, check in at 8pm across the street from Barnes and Nobles Bookstore on Townsfairway.
Friday 9:00am – 3:00pm, check in at 9:00am
All oversized vehicles must set up Thursday night, or may have to dolly on Friday.

ADVERTISING
The show is heavily promoted through newspaper features, paid radio and newspapers advertising, website listings, email blasts and thousands of postcards are sent to previous and potential buyers. Free postcards and handouts are available, please order at time of application if you able to use them. They will be available May 15th.

OTHER INFORMATION

Displays must be professional and aesthetically pleasing. All tents MUST be white and all racks MUST be covered. Handwritten signs and sale signs are strictly prohibited. The goal is to make your tent look like a “Mini” art gallery.

Individuals selling work that is not their own, or otherwise misrepresenting their product of themselves are not welcome and are requested to refrain from applying.

A representative of Easton Art Affair will inspect all booths onsite to ensure adherence to rules and standards. Action will be taken on site to remove the unacceptable items or the booth completely, which ever is suitable.

A booth may be shared if both parties have submitted a joint application which includes photos of each artist’s work.

All communication will be done through email and zapplication, so it is very important that the exhibitor keeps Huff-Burch Promotions informed of any email address changes.

Electric is available to most location, it must be ordered with your application, please limit use to 300 watts. You must provide breaker bar if multiple plugs are needed. Please limit the use of fans, when your lights are on. Electric is not guaranteed at all locations, battery lighting is permitted, no generators.

There is on-primise security daily. Columbus city Police on site Friday and Saturday night after show hours, and state of the art surveillance cameras 24 hours; however, artists leave artwork at their own risk.

Artists are responsible for proper insurance and protection of work and setup. Easton Town Center, Huff-Burch Promotions will not be responsible for damage to work or setup due to weather or unrelated incidents.

All reproductions must be clearly and individually labeled.
