Bentonville Art and Culinary Festival (The entire month of June)

In the environment of Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and the 21c Museum Hotel, the Art and Culinary Festival is held throughout various locations across downtown Bentonville during the entire month of June. Downtown Bentonville Inc. (DBI) continues to expand the event offerings within visual, culinary, theater, film, music, dance, and literary arts programs.

Bentonville Art Walk (June 7, 4-9 pm and June 8, 9 – 2 pm 2013)

This annual event continues to be a cornerstone experience of the month long festival. Held during what was traditionally the June First Friday program, the two-day Bentonville Art Walk highlights regional visual arts and jazz. Works for sale will range from the traditional to the contemporary and include paintings in watercolor, oil, acrylic, pastel, and mixed media; drawings; photographs; woodcuts, intaglio, and other print techniques; collage; weaving and other fabric works; ceramics; basketry; woodworking; jewelry; lamp-worked glass beads and sculptures; and works in beveled or fused glass. Security from the Bentonville Police Department will be provided overnight. Artist hospitality room will be open throughout the show. Runners will be available to give artists breaks. Electric is provided free of charge.

Original/Handcrafted work by exhibitors own hand
Must create pleasing display
Canopy must be used

Art Fete (June 1, 2013)
The opening fete of the Art and Culinary Festival month long celebration of the arts; this event includes live music, a local chef showcase and an exclusive sneak peak at some of the art that will be shown at the Art Walk the following week.

All submissions are subject to jury discretion.
