2017 marks the 50th anniversary of the Artsfest of Greater Harrisburg, a 3-day outdoor celebration featuring an artist market of 250 artists displaying fine art and fine craft, a Film Fest, a Kids Fest, and 3 stages of continuous entertainment. This free event is held over Memorial Day Weekend in scenic Downtown Harrisburg’s Riverfront Park.
This event is produced by Jump Street, a private, nonprofit community based arts incubator, serving Central Pennsylvania for over thirty years. Jump Street’s mission is to help develop educational and economic opportunities with the arts for all age groups.

Application Deadline & Notification:
Applications for jurying must be submitted by Febuary 15th, 2017. All accepted applicants will be notified via ZAPP on or before March 15th, 2017. Please no phone calls.

The festival uses a mix of radio, print, outdoor and online advertising to regularly attract an audience of over 30,000 people to the market. Artsfest of Greater Harrisburg is a proud recipient of Harrisburg Magazines 2016 Reader’ Choice Award for festival.
*Images submitted with applications may be used for show publicity.
Jump Street reserves the right to re-categorize any work. Every attempt will be made to contact the artist prior to re-categorization.
Artists may apply in more than one medium, but must submit a separate application fee for each medium.
Work from molds, kits, patterns, plans, prefabricated forms or any other commercial methods are NOT permitted.
All work must be original- No “BUY-SELL” or imports are permitted at Artsfest. If discovered the booth will be closed.
All artists must personally attend the festival and all artists must be present during the entire Artsfest. Artists must be responsible for their own work and booth. Artist must supply their own booth structure with cover. Individual tent rentals are available by contacting Jump Street. Work in submitted images must be representative of the work to be shown at the festival. Only works of art personally created by the artist accepted as an exhibitor at the festival may be displayed or offered for sale.
4 product images and 1 booth shot required. Please select your images carefully. The quality of the image as well as the quality of your work directly affects your score.
A waitlist will be selected from juror’s scores in each medium. Waitlist artists may be invited as cancellations in their medium occur.
On Site Jury:
At the 2017 Artsfest of Greater Harrisburg, all booths will be juried. Exemplary artists/booths will be juried exempt for the 2018 Artsfest of Greater Harrisburg. These artists will be exempt from the application fee as well.
Upon acceptance, there will be no refunds for cancellation after April 1st, 2017
NO pets will be permitted in Riverfront Park during the festival hours.
PA Sales Tax # is required by April 30, 2016. Call (717) 783-1405 or go to www.revenue.state.pa.us to receive sales tax application: DBA (doing business as) name must be received in addition to the Sales Tax ID #.
Neither Jump Street or the City of Harrisburg will be held liable for loss or damage to work or property or for personal injury, nor shall the artists or any representatives be a party to any legal action against any of the above named.
Quality & Safety Control:
The Artsfest of Greater Harrisburg will be enforcing quality and safety control regulations. Any booth that is not up to the standards and structural quality of the festival will be asked to leave. This includes any booth storing boxes and materials outside of the designated booth area.
Artists or booths that are not up the quality and safety regulations of Artsfest may jeopardize future admittance.
Locations are available in the street and in the park (grass).

All return checks will be subject to a $35.00 charge.
Friday, May 26th from 9am - 8pm.
All booths must set up Friday. No Saturday morning set-up. Exhibitors not registered by 8pm on Friday evening will forfeit their space to a waitlisted applicant.
Monday, May 29th from 5pm-10pm.
Vehicles will NOT be allowed onto the festival site until 6pm (This includes Front Street). Your booth should be completely packed up before a vehicle may be brought on site. Early tear down will not be tolerated and could compromise any future acceptance into Artsfest
All booths must be torn down and removed from the festival site by 10pm.
