The natural beauty and landscape along the east bank of the Snake River Greenbelt displays a serene backdrop to any artists booth. Coupled with the downtown area of Idaho Falls is an energetic and culturally rich setting for this annual two day event. Highly regarded as a top quality art show with exceptional artists, complete with live entertainment, and food; this event has been known to attract over 15,000 visitors and art patrons.
Idaho Falls is surrounded by many natural attractions throughout the region all within short distances: there is Yellowstone National Park, Teton National Park, Jacksonhole, Wy. to the east, Craters of the Moon National Park to the west. All throughout the region in every direction the scenic views that attract tourists, sportsman, and art enthlusiasts.
Admission is free to the public.
Acceptable Mediums (all mediums and artists works are held to standards of quality with limited reproductions for our patrons, and your artistic originality are reputable. We ask that all artist limit the number of prints 50% to that of their originals.)
PAINTING/DRAWING: oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, pencil, charcoal, ink and mixed media.
PHOTOGRAPHY: original photographs (prints must adhere to 50% print policy as with all artist in the show)
SCULPTURE: three dimensional original artwork done in any medium will be acceptable, including ironwork
JEWELRY: work produced from metal, clay, glass, fiber, or mixed medium must be entered in this category
(Must be the original work of the artist and hold standards of 75:25 ratio original handmade/pendants/beads to commercially reproduced findings/clasps/chains).
FIBER: basket weaving and original weaving textiles
WOOD: original hand tooled, machine or carved work, functional and non-functional
GLASS: hand blown or stained glass. Stained glass must be original design and one of kind in nature.
CERAMICS: all original clay work. Must be hand thrown or built. No machine made, pre-cast or mass produced work will be accepted.
PRINTMAKING: hand printed originals signed and numbered by the artists with using manipulated plates, screens and blocks produced by the artists.
Jurying process: no booth shot is required: jury process is based on category mediums sold in your booth
4 photos and $15 per category medium to be juried. Eagle Rock Art Guild has tried to preserve the quality and high standards of the show, we understand that each artists works hard; in time, cost, and resources in creating original pieces therefore preference in jurying goes to the artists skillset in transforming raw materials (unique/design- orginals) to that over mass produced or commercially reproduced goods.
As applications and photos pertaining to category medium come in they will be reviewed by 5 jurors -show committee offiicials; with a yes, no, or maybe response. Majority "yes" responses are considered first for 85 booth spaces. Majority "maybe" with 1 or 2 yes responses will be placed on waitlist and are reconsidered to fulfill all spaces and vacancies.

Upon acceptance through jury process, booth payment may be accepted through Zapplication paypal or check made to Eagle Rock Art Guild and mailed to: ERAG c/o Sidewalk Show Committee PO BOX 2542, Idaho Falls, ID 83403. Please make sure to accept invite on Zapplication before checking out and payment by credit through Zapplication.
Artists Amenities: When accepted we will provide a listing of several hotels/motels, and RV park located in close proxcimity to the Snake River Greenbelt and Downtown Idaho Falls. When you arrive to set up booth an artists packet will be provided to you. These packets include further instructions for parking and set up, forms (temporary sales permit), and name tags.Tax Information: Each exhibitor will be provided will receive and be required to fill out an Idaho State Tax form ST-124 verifying their state tax number. This form serves as a temporary sales tax permit. Assistance through volunteers for set up and take down may be provided to you if needed and requested.
Bathrooms located on the north end and port a potties located in the middle and south end of greenbelt.
Booth set up begins Friday July 21 after 1pm- 7pm. Please pick up booth information packet for show details and assigned booth space, prior to setting up booth.If you need assistance please let know.
Overnight or after hour security (Friday and Saturday 7pm to 7am) is hired, ARTISTS leave booths contents at their own risk.
Food vendors and entertainment are present for the duration of the show.
$250 -12x12 ft booth max, (Booths are marked every 15 ft. space) no electricity or running water will be provided to individual booths.
$500-2 conjoined 12x12 booth spaces
*Corner spots are subject to spacing in layout, you may request them however there are no garuantees and are on first come first serve basis.
Booth layout is aligned along banks of the Snake River and facing the walkway or sidewalk (or greenbelt).
The layout and numbering of booth spaces may change each year due to the number of artists present, the flow of the event and additional features set by City along the greenbelt.
*Membership of ERAG has discounted booth pricing and are given coupon codes for the discount upon renewal of 2017 membership dues. You must be a member of ERAG at least 6 weeks prior to application deadline (by April 20th) to receive to receive coupon code for discounted booth price. *Membership is limited to residency of SE Idaho counties; If you have questions please contact ERAG.

*No electricity, water, and shade are promised. Please bring anything for comfort. If you have request to booth space please make sure to make note of it via email. The shows officials try their best to accomodate these requests based on physical condition and/or health concerns, mediums, and past participants, however show officials cannot gaurantee a "perfect spot".
