Event Summary
Art on the Green invites artists to apply for our 50th annual festival August 3,4,5, 2018

Now in its 50th year, Art on the Green is located on Lake Coeur d'Alene, on the beautiful campus of North Idaho College. We are attended by over 50,000 people and produced by over 500 volunteers. All entry fees and commissions are used to pay for the juried show prizes, art classes for children and adults, art awards to local schools, free entertainment, and expenses for the festival.

Citizens’ Council for the Arts maintains a festival of the highest reputation and quality, which is a credit to our community, to the Council and its volunteers, and to all participating artists. The festival gathers friends and families for a celebration of life and the arts. In order to generate a creative atmosphere, we encourage you to demonstrate your craft at the festival if possible. Our festival features: specialty food booths with offerings ranging from traditional (sausages & saurkraut) to progressive (organic quinoa bowls); a large beer & wine garden with local brewery and cider house offerings on-tap; an art activity garden for children; and great entertainment provided by local and regional artists. Come celebrate our 50th year!

More info about our festival can be found at ArtontheGreen.org.
