Event Summary
The 43rd annual Montclair Village Summer Art Walk lines the sidewalk of this busy shopping area that attracts people from one of Oakland’s most affluent communities. Montclair Village is a charming and vibrant shopping district, nestled in the beautiful, tree-covered Oakland Hills. The Village has a laid-back, small town feel, plenty of parking in the City-owned garage, and many small business retailers and restaurants. This event stands as one of our top selling Sidewalk Festivals. There isn't a street closure for this event; artist and crafter spaces line the sidewalk at the curb with shoppers walking between artisans and merchants. Our sidewalk events are laid back with downtown shoppers as our customers. Although the local farmer’s market sets up on the closed street of La Salle on Sunday with stalls open for business from 9am-1pm, there is not competition the remainder of the weekend with sponsor/food booths or stages giving the patron more time and space to visit with the artisans. The 13-foot length (single booth) allows for more frontage for your work to be viewed both from the sidewalk and the street.

This application is open to creators of handcrafted, small batch products made in the USA by the artist or craftsperson selling their works. With pre-arranged permission a representative may sell at events. Creativity and originality are important. No application including buy and sell, imports or kits will be considered. No application including guns as toys will be considered.
Spaces are approximately 4ft. wide x 13ft. long and displays must be flexible to incorporate light poles, bike racks etc. Pro panels, tables, grid structures, jewelry cases, potter racks all work well.
Overnight parking available. 
Free digital or hard copy color event postcards available for social media posting, sales tables or customer mailout.
No tent spaces, but market umbrellas are festive and welcome. 
Most artisans take their work overnight but leave tarped and clamped displays.
No security or electricity. 

Refund/Cancellation Policy
Through April 1              Space fee refunds given.
April 2 – May 24            Pacific Fine Arts Festivals credit slip provided minus $50.00 per space for cancellations.
May 25 – Show             Space fee is forfeited.

Business license required for OAKLAND RESIDENTS, $91.00, good for the year. Information will come with event instruction letter.
