Event Summary
The 2018 Cullman Strawberry Festival will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the Festhalle Farmer's Market and Depot Park.

The Cullman Parks and Recreation welcomes you and your application to be part of our annual Strawberry Festival. We invite you to be part of our tradition while also being exposed to tens of thousands of customers! Join us for a strawberry themed weekend of fun on May 5! The festival will feature a slate of live music, over 100 arts and crafts vendors, kid’s activities and rides, and a vintage car show. Fresh strawberries will be sold at our Farmer’s Market at the event, as well as strawberry ice cream, strawberry short cake, strawberry lemonade, strawberry daiquiris, and more. The annual Strawberry Festival is a weekend you do not want to miss!


General Information

Looking good!   We will have a "Best Booth" judging contest at this years festival. The winner of the contest will recieve a complimentary 2019 booth fee.

Application deadline: March 20 2018
Jury dates: March 20-21, 2018 
Notification of acceptance: March 22-23, 2018 
Deadline to accept invitation/purchase deadline: March 31, 2018

Late applications may be accepted at the discretion of the Director and included in the Wait List. 

Cancellations by confirmed artist participants must be received in writing before 5 p.m. on April 19, 2018 for a refund of booth fee. Jury/Application fees are non refundable. 

Show Hours:  Saturday, May 5:  8am - 6pm 


 

Rules/Regulations

Sales
All sales are handled by the exhibitor. Cullman Parks and Recreation collects no commission on sales. Sales tax must be collected by the exhibitor. Instructions will be given at check-in or acceptance into show reguarding how the sales tax should be deposited with the Cullman County Department of Revenue. 


Fees
Application, booth, and other fees may be sent via check or money order to the Cullman Parks and Recreation office if you do not wish to pay through Zapplication. make payable to Cullman Parks and Recreation and mail to: PO Box 788 Cullman, AL 35056.


A $35 fee is charged for EACH returned check. 
Your booth fee constitutes an aggrement to show. Booth space will NOT be reserved without payment of fees. NO REFUNDS FOR CANCELLATIONS AFTER April 19, 2018. 

 
  • Booth selection and placement is final and at the discretion of the committee. 
  • Sales will be from 8am-6pm
  • Vendors must provide their own clean, no tears tent (white preferred) equipment and booth display. 
  • Tent weights are required, 40 lbs. per leg minimum 
  • The festival is held outside so exhibitors must be prepared for inclement weather. There is no rain date and no refunds given in the event of inclement weather.  
  • Vendors must park in the designated vendor parking area. 
  • All work is displayed at the risk of the vendors. The organizers of the festival are not responsible for loss, theft, or damages to your rented booth area, boot, and product. Vendors must cary their own liability inurance policy to cover their booth, product, rented space, and staff.  
  • Sales tax information will be sent upon acceptance or given at the show. 
  • It is the desire of the festival organizers to present a unified, eclectic mix of interesting exhibitors and for exhibitors and spectators alike to have a positive experience at the Strawberry Festival. Therefore, festival organizers reserve the right to relocate a vendor who arrives at the festival site with an unattractive or oversize display not meeting the requirements set forth in the application. 
  • You may only sell items that were juried into the festival. No exceptions. 
  • Subleasing of booths is not permitted. 
  • Your booth must be setup prior to start time. Booths not setup prior to festival start will forfeit their spot. No late setups ot arrivals and no early breakdowns.
