Event Summary

The Transit Depot Fine Art & Craft Festival in Monterey, the 6th event for this location, will be held at Fisherman’s Wharf on July 28-29, 2018, during the height of the tourist season. The Transit Depot is in a highly desirable area, lots of drive by and foot traffic,with the Old Fisherman's Wharf next door. With the new dates and the planned increase in advertising (print and social media), the attendance should be great!

The Festival will be located at the Transit Depot parking lot, at 451 Del Monte Avenue and Figueroa Street, is the main road thru Monterey. Festival patrons will also be able to visit The Wharf Marketplace, a great place fresh produce, breakfast, lunch or dinner as well as fine wine and beer. Also, there are many retail shops and fine restaurants at Fisherman’s Wharf. The hours of the event are from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free.

Coffee and donuts will be provided each morning.
Security will be on site Saturday evening for your convenience.
The Jewelry and Photography categories will be limited.

This event is open to all media of original fine art and fine craft, and all work will be juried. Categories will be limited. Only original hand-made works are accepted. Commercially or mass-produced items are not eligible. There will be no buy/sell items in the show. Participants must provide their own display. If used, canopy must be white. It will be securely attached to the ground using weights in case of unexpected high winds. Show is on pavement.
Each participant is responsible for the safety and liability of their own display and merchandise. CWB Events and the City of Monterey assume no responsibility for loss or damage to merchandise, display, canopies or participants. Overnight security will be provided on Saturday evening.
Show hours will be from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on both days.
Booth fees are $227.00 for a 10’ X 10’ or $377.00 for 10’ X 20’ space, plus 10% commission on all sales. Every space will be a corner. Please submit 3-4 images of your work and 1 image of your display, and a current Biography. If accepted, I give permission for my photos to be used for publicity. Confirmation status will be sent via email.

Plus 10% commission on all sales resulting from the show, both during the show and after.
All booths are oversized, and each is a corner space
Set up will be on Saturday morning, and needs to be done by 9:30
Security will be provided on Saturday evening for your convenience.

Please let us know if there are any specific booth requests - facing north, etc. We will try to accomodate these requests.
