Event Summary
The Tinglewood Festival will be a free (no admission charge) one day event held in Orr Park on September 8, 2018. This Festival will be a signature event for the City of Montevallo. The Festival is being organized by the Montevallo Chamber of Commerce, Montevallo Main Street, and the Montevallo Arts Council.

Montevallo is often recognized for the carvings of Tim Tingle in Orr Park. Each year thousands of visitors come to the park to enjoy these tree carvings. Over 40 carvings line the walking path along scenic Shoal Creek. It is a perfect venue to host a festival celebrating wood carving and other wood working crafts. This is the genesis for the Tinglewood Festival.

The Festival will feature artists at work (chainsaw carving, whittling, etc.), live music, a classic car show, food trucks, and children's activities.

General Information
Accepted art mediums include wood carving, wood turning, woodworking of all sorts. In other words, every form of arts and crafts made from wood. If you have a question about whether your artwork is applicable, call or email us before applying.
