Event Summary
September 21-23 come enjoy the 23rd Annual Fall Festival of the Arts & Crafts, and shop for beautifully handcrafted objects created by over 50 artisans. 

The festival is a great place to find unique gifts for yourself, or family and friends. Visitors will find a variety of one-of-a-kind, handcrafted items including ceramics, pottery, jewelry, clothing, paintings, wood furniture, and more. This family-oriented festival offers live music and a full food court.

We will also be featuring a Children's Area in the Parking lot just north of the YHTI building on Elm Street. There will be a variety of games and activities for kids to participate in as well as a character corner with different character for kids to meet and take photos with!

Rules of Participation
The festival is open to exhibitors 16 and over. Exhibitors may set up Friday starting at 12:00 PM. Exhibits MUST BE set up by 4:00 PM. Limited 110v electrical outlets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Booth rental fees are payable with application. Cancellation deadline is August 15th. There will be a $35.00 cancellation fee for cancellations received prior to August 15th. There will be NO REFUND for cancellations after August 15th. Tables, chairs, and tents WILL NOT be provided. No smoking or animals are permitted in booth areas. Exhibitors should have all items clearly marked, provide tags for their merchandise and be responsible for setting up and cleaning up their area. Only hand-crafted, hand-made original items created by the exhibitor may be offered for sale. Exhibitors will be asked to remove items not meeting these standards. No food or drinks may be sold without specific approval by the Festival Committee prior to the event. NO MUSIC OF ANY KIND ALLOWED IN BOOTHS, NO EXCEPTIONS. We reserve the right to reject any items found not to be in good taste, or any person who does not conform to the regulations. Spaces will be assigned as applications are received. Please do not expect to be in the same location each year, booths are moved to show variety and break up monotony. Food and drink booths will be available. Confirmation and acceptance will be mailed within 60 days of receipt of application. Applications MUST be signed and dated. Vehicles are to be parked against the oppposite curb while unloading and MUST be removed immediately after unloading and before setting up. Absolutely NO pets of any kind permitted in festival zone.
All booth spaces will be outside on a hard surface. Volunteer booth sitters will be avaliable to watch your booth for short restroom breaks.

Sales
All proceeds from the sales go to the exhibitor. It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to collect and report sales tax. Local sales tax tables will be provided. Downtown Washington, Inc. provides the State of Missouri a complete list of participating vendors.

Application
Only exhibitors whose work has been juried by the festival committee may exhibit at this event. Every year all entries MUST submit 3 photographs that cover all types of current work and 1 booth photo. All pictures must be labeled with the exhibitor’s name. Photos will be returned to exhibitors at check in on the day of the festival. Applications will not be considered without pictures.

Fees
Booth fee is $100.00 for a 10x10 space, $150.00 for a 10x20 space (12x12 requires a 10x20 space) and electricity is available on a limited basis for an additional $20.00. There is a $10.00 non-refundable jury fee. Your check or money order, for the appropriate amount, should be made payable to Downtown Washington, Inc. The receipt of your application will be considered a commitment to attend the festival. No refunds will be given after the final cancellation deadline.

Display
Tents or coverings must be flame-retardant. No stakes can be driven into the ground or pavement. All exhibitors are required provide their own weights to hold down tents. All exhibitors must provide their own display. Exhibitors must drape all booth/table fronts and backs where exposed to view and should keep all packing materials out of sight. Exhibitors may not block or impede the sidewalk in any way or fashion. Your display may not exceed the space allotted unless prior arrangements have been made. Security will be provided between 6:00 PM Saturday night and 10:00 AM Sunday morning. Exhibitors are not allowed to break down their booth until the end of the festival, unless you have permission from the festival committee in advance. If you break down early you will not be invited back.

Downtown Washington, Inc. reserves the right to select the show participants. Downtown Washington, Inc. reserves the right to reject any exhibitor for good cause. Good cause includes, but is not limited to, inappropriate behavior on the part of the exhibitor, inability of the exhibitor to comply with the rules and regulations of the festival, misrepresentation of work, and presentation of work which falls below the standards of Downtown Washington, Inc. and/or the Festival Committee. Downtown Washington, Inc. is not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of merchandise.
