Event Summary
You are invited to apply to showcase and sell your work at the 6th Annual South Street Art Festival.
South Street Art Festival is a three-day outdoor art festival held in the heart of Downtown Arlington, Texas.
10,000 art loving attendees fill the streets seeing booth after booth of quality art from local, regional and national artists on October 12, 13, 14, 2018.
SSAF is a growing event that has become the longest running and only fine art festival in the Downtown District of Arlington, TX.  
In addition to the quality art, patrons will also enjoy our Wine Tasting and Craft Beer experience featuring national & international wines & craft beers. Live entertainment from local and regional bands performing all weekend helps create a well rounded event for all to enjoy.

You are invited to apply to the 6th Annual South Steet Art Festival in Downtown Arlington.
South Street Art Festival takes place in the heart of Downtown Arlington on South Street stretching 3 blocks between Elm and Jefferies streets.

10,000 art loving attendees fill the streets to see booth after booth of quality art from local, regional and national artists on October 12, 13, 14, 2018, 

Our Story

Created in 2013 and held annually in October, South Street Art Festival is Downtown Arlington’s longest running and only fine art festival.
SSAF is owned and promoted by a life long Arlington resident and artist that strives to create an atmosphere where artist and art lovers can come together. As the owner and promoter of Arlington's only two art festival South Street and Art on the Greene Art Festival (held in May), we are passionate about bringing the artist and the community together to create meaningful experiences and lifelong memories through art.

In addition to the quality art, patrons will also enjoy our Wine Tasting and Craft Beer experience featuring national & international wines & craft beers. Live entertainment from local and regional bands performing all weekend helps create a well rounded event for all to enjoy.

Requirements:

Jury Fee: $5.00 non-refundable for each entry form/category submitted.

Images: 4 (with one being a booth shot)

Jury will select up to a total of 100 artists to be represented.
Artists notification of invitation to participate is September 11, 2018.
Upon receiving notification of invitaion please accept or decline. If accepting deadline to pay booth fee is September 22, 2018.

All booth fees will be paid through Moya Art Events and not through Zapplication.

(Booth fee includes free electricity)


Artist Show Hours:
Friday 4pm-9pm
Saturday 10am-9pm
Sunday 11am-5pm



Artist Amenities:
24 hour security provided by the Arlington Police Department
FREE electricity
Booth sitting
free convenient parking

Sales:
Artist retains all revenue from the sale of their work.
Artist are responsible for collecting and paying all taxes. City of Arlington sales tax is 8%.

Rules/Regulations
Check-In:
Artist check-in will begin at 8am Friday of festival.
All artists must check in before setting up.

Set Up:
Artist set up will be from 8am-2:30pm
Artists will be able to drive up to their booth to unload. Artists must unload and remove vehicle from area before setting up tent and display.


Load-Out:
Absolutely no loading out before the festival ends.
Load-out will begin at 5pm close of show Sunday. Anyone in violation of following this rule, will not be invited back to participate at South Street Art Festival.

Rules of festival:
All Artist MUST have a WHITE tent (no exceptions)
All Artists must be present during show. No representatives can be sent in your place.
All work must be of the artist exhibiting.
Artists may only exhibit and sell work in the media category in which they are accepted.
Absolutely no booth sharing.
Collaborating artists must explain process in application.

The selected artist is required to return a check, money order payable to Moya Art Events for $200 or $400 to secure their booth space. BOOTH FEES WILL ONLY BE PAID DIRECTLY TO MOYA ART EVENTS. NO CREDIT CARDS WILL BE ACCEPTED THROUGH ZAPP.
