Event Summary
Winterfest is a one day festival of handmade gifts and more held indoors on “Main Street” of the Evergreen High School. Winterfest has been held for 39 years and has approximately ninety artists with 2000 patrons.

Medium (please select from the list below):
Ceramics: Original clay and porcelain work excluding jewelry. No machine-made or mass produced work.
Digital Art: Original work for which the original image, or the manipulation of other source material was executed by the artist using a computer. Work must be in limited editions, signed and numbered. Traditional photographs taken through a digital media should apply as photography.
Drawing: Original work created using dry media including chalk, charcoal, pastels, pencil, wax crayon, etc. or from the fluid medium of inks and washes applied by pen or brush. Reproductions must not make up the majority of the display.
Fiber: Includes basketry, embroidery, leatherwork, weaving, tapestry and papermaking. No forms of mass production are permitted. No factory produced wearable items, regardless of additional enhancement by the artist, may be exhibited.
Food: All food-related vendors must fill out the separate food vendor application found on our website - www.evergreenarts.org - the application will be available by July 1st
Glass: All handmade glass excluding jewelry and mass produced items.  
Jewelry: All jewelry whether the work is produced from metal, glass, clay, fiber, paper, plastic, or other materials must be entered in this category. No commercial casts, molds or production studio work is allowed. Metalwork: Includes all non-sculptural, non-jewelry works crafted from metals. No production studio work is allowed.
Mixed Media: This category includes works, both 2D and 3D, which incorporate more than one type of physical material to produce. This includes non-sculptural work only.  
Painting: Works created in oils, watercolor, etc. are in this category. Reproductions must not make up the majority of the display.
Photography: Photographic prints made from the artist’s original image, which have been processed by that artist, or under his/her direct supervision.  
Printmaking: Traditional print media to include woodblock, linocut, wood engraving, intaglio, monoprints, lithography, silkscreen and engraving. Photo mechanical and Giclee prints are not permitted. All prints must show edition number and original artist’s signature. q Sculpture: 3D original work done in any medium.
Wearable Art: No mass produced items will be accepted, regardless of embellishments. Handmade hats, belts, clothing of any kind should apply in this category. q Wood: Original works in wood that are hand-tooled, machine-worked, turned or carved.
Other: Should be used for mediums that do not fit into the above categories. Artists in this category must provide a detailed de scription of their process and materials.

Rules/Regulations
Guidelines/Rules:
• Winterfest welcomes all artists in any fine art or fine craft medium exhibiting his or her own handmade work of art. There are no quotas in any medium; however, the jury will be instructed to do their best to select a well-balanced show.
• Artists must be present with their work for the entire festival. Representatives may not attend the event in place of the arist.
• Booth space may be shared if both parties are accepted - applications must be submitted individually.
The Center for the Arts Evergreen reserves the right to remove from the show those items determined unsuitable for public display. This will be at the discretion of the Center’s Executive Director. • Winterfest  Festival Hours:  Saturday, November 10, 2018 - 9:00am - 4:00pm
• Booth set up: Saturday, November 10, 2018 after 6:00am and must be completed by 8:30am.  The high school does not give access for set up on Friday evening - no exceptions!  Please plan on bringing your own dolly or cart if you need one.
• Entrance to the school is limited and items will need to be carted or carried into the Festival. Exhibitors should bring someone with them if they feel they need assistance with set up or tear down. Exhibitors must also NOT LEAVE TRASH BEHIND after tear-down, including zip ties, etc.
• Exhibitors agree to abide by Winterfest parking regulations. Vehicles must be moved to the designated vendor lot during the festival. Exhibitors who do not abide by parking regulations will be asked to leave the show; booth fees will not be refunded. • CAE may invite local nonprofit groups to participate in Winterfest. Some of the foregoing rules and regulations may be suspended for these organizations. Please review the information in this application carefully before applying to Winterfest. 

Booth Information
Booth Space:
Winterfest is an indoor school festival environment with a variety of booth sizes and price levels. The high school’s main hallway is the location of the Premium Booths. Artists must provide their own display booth, racks and/or tables in order to display their work. Requests will be handles on a first come, first served basis. Returning artists will have first priority on receiving their same space as previous years (if possible). Specific booth assignments are available only at check in.

Premium Booths (located in the Main Hallway):
10 x 10 and 12 x 8: $215, 18 x 5: $200 (limited availability), 10 x 8: $185 (limited availability)
Cafeteria:
10 x 10 and 12 x 8: $175
Corner booth is an additional $50 (limited availability)
Electricity is an additional $25 (limited availability)  

Refund Policy: full refunds will be given until October 20th, half refunds will be given until October 25, thereafter no refunds of booth fees will be given.
Sales: Artists retain all revenue from the sale of their work. Application Images: • Images must be submitted digitally • Four images are to be submitted with application. • Three images must be of individual pieces of current work representative of what you plan to display at Winterfest. • Image #4 must be of your booth, showing overall continuity and presentation of your current body of work or past booth setup. The purpose of the booth image is to ensure the artists has a complete body of work which is represented both in the first three images and also with the fourth image. If a booth shot is not available, a grouping of work is acceptable.

All images are juried anonymously so please be sure your name or business name does not appear in the image or image title.
