Event Summary
Fabulous indoor venue 1 block from Historic LaGrange's Main St shopping district, just off I-71 outside of Louisville, KY. Great feedback from quality artists over the last 7 years! 2018 turn out was excellent with lots of marketing done in print, on radio and TV. Well run by artists for artists.  Big marketing budget and 16 years show management experience. Lots of Holiday buyers at a time when there are few quality indoor shows.
$350 for Best of Show, Ten judged categories receiving ribbons 1st through 3rd place.  


General Information
Welcome to Oldham Arts on CityPlace, produced by the Arts Association of Oldham County.
The show is held in the stunning venue City Place Expo Center- www.cityplaceexpocenter.com  It provides a one of a kind indoor venue for large events conveniently located just off I-71, 22 miles NE of Louisville, KY in the charming town of La Grange.  Good lighting, wonderful facilities, ample parking adjacent to restaurants and Main St shops/galleries. Artists rave about the breakfast Saturday morning!
NOTE ARTISTS WILL BE JURIED AND INVITED MONTHLY UNTIL FULL SO YOU CAN MAKE PLANS. EXCEPTION:  Jewelry entries are limited and may be juried as a whole after deadline

DIRECTIONS: Exit 22 off Interstate 71, turn North on Hwy 53 (1st Avenue), City Place is        
                          approximately 3/4  mile on left. 112 S 1st Avenue, La Grange,  KY 40031
SHOW HOURS: 10-5 pm Saturday & 11-4 pm Sunday.
SET UP TIMES: Friday, 12 – 5 pm- doors locked at 5pm; Saturday, 7am - 10am
BREAKFAST: Hot meal served Saturday  8 am —10 am. Sunday coffee only
JUDGING starts at 10am Saturday
IMAGES: Artists consent to the use of their pictures as management posts daily on Facebook starting 60 days
                before the show. Images may also be used on print or Television ads. 

This event BENEFITS the Arts Association of Oldham County, a 501 c3 organization giving back to the community.

REFUNDS: If artist notifies management and booth can be "resold", 80% of booth fee will be refunded.

This is a juried event and only artists displaying their own original work are eligible. Exhibitors must be present throughout the 2 days of the show. Artists leaving early will not be invited back without the approval of the directors. The emphasis of the show is on original arts & crafts. 2-D artists working with prints must label all prints as such. Prints can comprise up to 50% of the total display. No commercially made products, ceramics made from molds, kit objects, glass from patterns or mass produced items may be exhibited. All work must be labeled with a price, or “not for sale.” The committee reserves the right to reject any work, display or exhibitor which in its opinion does not conform to the artist’s work as represented by the submitted application. If artist wishes to display more than one medium, you must submit 3 photos of each medium, one booth shot and jury fee for each judged medium.

FINAL AND JEWELRY INVITATIONS will go out by October 2 IF YOU DON'T ACCEPT/PAY BY OCTOBER 9, YOU WILL BE PLACED ON THE WAIT LIST and the first artist on the wait list will be invited.

Request all artists be SET UP between 12noon and 5pm on Friday. If setting up Sat. am, please let management know.

AWARDS are $350 for Best of Show then $150 for first place in 9 categories, ribbons for 1st thru 3rd place. Consumables receive ribbons only. Artist must jury in for each medium displayed but only pay a jury fee if wishing to be judged in that medium. You MUST send images showing ALL MEDIUMS you wish to display. 
INVITATIONS will go out as artists are accepted, final by October 2. Management reserves the right to combine categories if less than 4 entries.
Artists consent to the use of their submitted IMAGES in marketing the show
I/we hereby make application to become an exhibitor in the Oldham Arts on CityPlace. I agree to abide by the rules and regulations as  established. Furthermore I/we hereby release, forever discharge, indemnify and hold harmless AAOC and the officers, agents and employees of AAOC as well as all co-sponsors and their representatives from any responsibility, personal liability, loss, claims, actions, suits, and damage arising out of or in connection with this show. AAOC does not carry insurance to cover your personal property or against personal injury to you or your helpers. You are advised to obtain your own insurance. I/we hereby authorize use of the images submitted with this application. I/we hereby certify that I am the sole producer or co-producer of the work exhibited and acknowledge that  AAOC reserves the right to make final interpretation of all rules.  I/we have read and understand the requirements for participation in the Oldham Arts on CityPlace, including this agreement and release.


Booth Information
BOOTH INFO: You must provide your own display, tables or chairs. BOOTHS, $225, are at least 10' x 10' (55), 13' x 8' (11), or 9' x 8' (2) defined by a 2 or 3 sided, 8' high draped divider. Pipe and drape is not designed for hanging.
Artists may not share booths unless all artists have juried in and management has approved. $225 Booth Fee must be submitted as one payment.
Both buildings are well lit but LIGHTING does vary. Bring lighting if in doubt, only heavy grade extension cords are allowed by venue.

Electric- $25 Bring heavy duty extension cords!!!! Normal "house" extension cords are not allowed by the venue, thanks.
