We’ve kept busy the last few months with system enhancements, conference planning, and adding new team members! Here’s what’s going on in what we affectionately refer to as ZAPPland…

Sign Up for a One-on-One Session at the Arts Festival Conference
Administrators, do you have questions about the ZAPP system? Would you like a refresher on how to run a report, create a coupon, or set up your jury? Sign up now for a mini, one-on-one session at the Arts Festival Conference with ZAPP® Demo and Training Consultant Nancy Musser! Space is limited and sign-up is required prior to the session. Reserve your space HERE.

New Admin System Feature: Jury Enhancements
We’ve made a few small changes to the ZAPP® jury that will enhance you and your jurors’ experience!

For both monitor and projected juries, we have added additional fields on the Invite and Remove Threshold pages. You will now be able to see the percentage to be removed/invited for each medium category along with the number of artists remaining in each category.

For projected juries, we have added additional formatting to the scorecard so that the ID Number, Statement, Discipline, Score and Comments fields are further differentiated from the artist answers.

For projected juries, after a score is input, jurors click “Save Score.” This will automatically move the juror to the next score instead of having to scroll down through the set of images and save scores at the bottom of the page.

New Artist System Feature: Archiving in the Withdrawn Status
If you have withdrawn an application, you no longer have to wait until the event passes to remove it from your current list. Once your application has been moved to the withdrawn status by the show administrator, you will see the option to archive. This allows you to keep your My ZAPPlications page up-to-date with all of your current applications. Thanks to our users for this great suggestion!

What Makes a Good Booth Photo?
To facilitate a discussion of “The Booth Image” at the 2015 Arts Festival Conference, we want to gather your input. Even if you can’t be at the conference, your opinions and ideas are important! Please complete this brief, 3-minute survey specifically addressing booth photos.

Public Portfolio Critique
The 2015 Public Portfolio Critique is the perfect session for artists looking for feedback on new bodies of work, booth shots, or even the image order on an existing portfolio. All you need to do is complete the application on ZAPP® — asking any specific questions for the panel — and check out for free! The panel, comprised of a former show director, an artist, and an arts academic and art show juror, will discuss your submission and provide constructive feedback.*

Submit your application for the Public Portfolio Critique today! Don’t forget, this session will take place on Thursday, September 24, 2015. Single day passes are available at bit.ly/zappcon2015.

*Priority will be given to those in attendance during this session. ZAPP® cannot guarantee the review of applications for those not in attendance.
