THE LATEST IN SYSTEM SECURITY
Your security is important to us! That’s why we’re excited to announce the latest security changes we’re making to ensure your online experience with us remains safe and secure.
New Password Security Change
As some of you may have noticed, ZAPP has required that you change your passwords. We know it can be a hassle to remember new login information, but periodic password changes are important to keeping your online accounts secure!
Here are our new security requirements:
- A minimum of 7 characters
- At least 1 capital letter
- At least 1 lowercase letter
- At least 1 number
What TLS Updates Mean for You
Starting June 12, 2017, we’ll be making a change to a security standard called TLS, or Transport Layer Security. TLS helps keep sensitive material safe while you’re using our site. Our change will support only new versions of TLS, which means users with very outdated browsers may not be able to access ZAPP.
Why keep your browser up-to-date? Doing so ensures that you:
- Maintain access to ZAPP!
- Avoid potential security flaws while online
- Have access to the latest technical features and visuals
- Can properly, and fully, see and navigate websites
