Event Summary
22nd Annual Double Decker Arts Festival:
Taking its name from the town’s authentic double decker bus imported from England in 1994, the festival brings together visitors and residents alike for a day-long celebration of music, food, and the arts held on Oxford's picturesque Courthouse Square.

General Information
Selection Process:
Applications are reviewed by a panel of jurors selected by the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council. Selection is made based upon quality of work and diversity of the show. Past participation in Double Decker does not guarantee acceptance into the festival. Jurors will make their selections based entirely upon the 4 samples of your work submitted to us and the description of your work on your application. 

Booths are 10ftX10ft, there are corner booths and double booths available.
The artist is responsible for all items needed to set up booth such as: tent, tables, chairs, etc.

Cost for Artist:
$28.00 non-refundable Application/ Jury Fee (must be purchased in order to apply)
Booth Fees: (If you are accepted into the festival)
Single: $225
Premium Single: $275
Single Corner: $275 (limited number)
Premium Single Corner: $325 (on square limited number)
Double: $450 
Premium Double: $500 (on square limited number)
Double Corner: $500 (very limited number)
Premium Double Corner: $550 (on square very limited number)

Application Instructions:
  • Complete the art vendor application.

  • Include 4 sample photographs of the artwork you intend on exhibiting at the festival (if you have a booth shot 

  • Purchase the non-refundable application/ jury fee

  • After the jury process you will be notified as being "invited", "denied" or "waitlisted".

  • If notified "invited" you will need to go through ZAPP to confirm your participation in the festival and purchase your booth and any other items you would like to purchase for the festival such as parking, etc.
    Please note: Festival Load-In begins at 6:00am on the day of the show. Hotels in Oxford fill up quickly for this event so early reservations are suggested go to www.visitoxfordms.com for a listing of hotels.

  • If notified "waitlisted" we will inform you through ZAPP if/ when a space is open. You would then need to go through ZAPP to accept participation in the festival and purchase your booth and any other items you would like to purchase for the festival.

    Timeline for art vendor applicants:

  • Nov. 16, 2016 - Jan. 26, 2017 Applications available

  • Jan. 26, 2017:  All applications due

  • Jan. 27, 2017 - Jan. 29, 2017: Panel of Jurors review and select applicants

  • Feb. 1, 2017: Notification to Applicant “invited”, “denied”, “waitlisted”

  • Feb. 1, 2017 - Feb. 8, 2017: Accept invitation to Festival

  • Feb. 13, 2017: Deadline to accept invitation and purchase booth
