Event Summary
The Cherokee Arts Center welcomes your application to the 14th Annual Canton Festival of the Arts in beautiful downtown Canton, Georgia on May 20 and 21, 2017.

Our Festival of the Arts is advertised to the entire metro Atlanta area and all across North Georgia. Canton and surrounding Cherokee County, is an easy drive from metro Atlanta and is one of the fastest-growing communities in the entire country.

General Information
Acceptable categories will include original works by the artist, limited editions in 2 and 3 dimensional arts, and fine crafts: 
Pottery/Clay, Furniture, Drawing/Pastel/Graphics, Basketry, Fiber/Weaving/Textiles, Wood,Glass,Watercolor, Oils/Acrylic/Mixed, Media, Paper, Sculpture, Printmaking, Leather, Photography, Jewelry, Metal
  Volunteers will be available to assist as booth sitters during the festival. Our committee will serve complimentary coffee and light breakfast items both Saturday and Sunday mornings for all of our vendors. Every effort will be made to provide convenient parking and restroom facilities for artists. A reward reception will be held for our artists on Saturday evening at the Cherokee County Arts Center.
 Our goal is to provide the best possible festival and to offer genuine hospitality to our exhibitors. The festival will include four cash awards: Best of Show $1000, First $500, Second $300, Third $150
 
 
 

Rules/Regulations
All work must be original by exhibiting artist. NO unlimited prints or hobby kits are allowed.
Kits, imported items, commercial exhibits, mass-produced items, mold ceramics, shells, decoupage, crocheting, artificial flowers, etc. are ineligible.
Festival committee reserves the right to prohibit display of work not representative of that which was juried.Only one artist may exhibit per space. Artists (no agents, dealers or representatives) must be present and remain through the 2-day event.
No commission will be charged on your sales. Artists must handle sales tax according to their individual status. 

Booth Information
Artists must provide all display equipment and tents.
All tents MUST BE WHITE.
Artists are responsible for securing their tents against acts of nature. Electricity is available on a limited basis and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Booth space will be 12' x 12' to accommodate a 10' x 10' tent.Security will be on duty Friday and Saturday nights. The Arts Center assumes no responsibility for lost or stolen items, however, every precaution will be taken to secure your property.
