The 35th Annual Codman Estate Fine Arts and Crafts Festival features the work of more than 100 artisans, including painting, pottery, photography, jewelry, food wares, glass, fiber art, metalworking, woodworking, clothing, and much more. Visitors can enjoy live musical entertainment, food vendors, demonstrations and Codman Estate tours.
Once called "the handsomest place in America," this country estate was home to five generations of the Codman family. The sixteen acre grounds feature a hidden turn-of-the-century Italian garden with perennial beds, statuary, and a reflecting pool filled with water lilies.
March 31, 2017 – Application deadline
Jury Process: 4 weeks – Jury selects up to 120 artisans to invite to exhibit. 2-3 rounds of jury selection.
Notification - Artisans will be notified of status early to mid May 2017 via email. They are also welcome to check their status online.
Acceptance: Once artisan is notified, they must accept and pay booth fee by June 30, 2017, to confirm participation.
A comprehensive promotion campaign will incorporate all media including radio, periodicals, banners, posters, postcards, online listings, and social media.

Application fee of $10 non-refundable.
Booth fee: $75 - After acceptance, if an exhibitor is forced to cancel their participation, 100% of booth fee will be returned upon written receipt of cancellation before July 31, 2017. Please note: After July 31, 2017, NO refunds will be given.
A waitlist will be developed based on jury scores. Exhibitors placed on the waitlist will be notified via email. If and when cancellations are received, the waitlisted exhibitor will be contacted and given the opportunity to accept or decline the invitation.
This is an outdoor festival and will open rain or shine. All exhibitors are expected to have their booths open during this time. Exhibitors should be prepared to protect their work in the event of rain or wind. If the weather turns severe, Historic New England reserves the right to close the show for safety reasons.
* Prior acceptance to festivals DOES NOT guarantee acceptance this year. Artists are selected via a blind jury process, and the jury panels changes every year.
All products for sale must be original, hand-crafted, and well executed. Historic New England will not accept commercial goods for resale, kits, imported, or consigned goods. Work must be categorized into one of the following:
*Glass artists, please note - if more than 50% of the work you will be displaying is jewelry, please apply to the "Jewelry" category, not the "Glass" category
Five (5) quality images must be submitted for each category entered by each exhibitor: four of artwork/product and one of booth set-up.
Size: 12 x 12'......$75 (fee due at time of acceptance to festival)
*Prior booth space assignments are NOT guaranteed. Please indicate booth preference with application and your request will be considered. THE JURY HAS FINAL SELECTION.
Codman Estate provides only the physical space for booths. Exhibitors are responsible for providing tents, tables, or canopies for displays. No electricity is provided; generators are not allowed. There is no WiFi.

The grounds will be open to exhibitors at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 9.
Exhibitors cannot start break down of booths until end of event at 4:00 p.m. No vehicles are allowed on the grounds before 4:15pm.
