What we do for you
We bring you patrons! Target marketing to Indianapolis and the greater Bloomington markets and surrounding regions including middle and southern Indiana focuses upon newspaper and magazine advertising, radio, television, community partnerships, social media, and extensive event signage including yard signs and billboards. Advertisements are geared towards spreading the word of the fair to as large an audience as possible, attracting art appreciators and buyers specifically interested in unique hand crafted art and craft. Arts Fair on the Square features a wide variety of media available in many different price ranges in order to appeal to the art collector as well as persons with a modest budget. Attendees include professionals, seniors, artists, and students. For over 35 years, Arts Fair on the Square has been one of the premier annual events in Bloomington, earning appreciation from artists from all over the country for its commitment to quality, great sales, and excellent exposure.

The BPP continually seeks to give artists an excellent venue to exhibit and sell their work and increase attendance and sales. Since the BPP began running this wonderful event, we have increased the marketing budget by over 700% to include more print media, radio advertising, and signage than ever before, added several new art medium categories, expanded the national artist base to include artists from states as far away as Arizona, included additional space for community groups, and created lasting relationships with local organizations and events. Last year alone, the BPP increased the marketing budget to an all time high and created a stronger volunteer force than ever before to better support YOU - our artists. This year, we are implementing several exciting new marketing ideas, replacing our event signage with newer fancier models, and executing several artist requests from last year including artist name tags and alternative booth markers. We want you to know that we listen to YOU and do our best every year to make Arts Fair on the Square the best possible experience.
