Event Summary
The annual Red Wing Festival of the Arts attracts over 10,000 visitors to view the juried exhibition of fine arts and crafts at the height of the area's fall color. In addition to the artists who present high quality work, there is a children’s area, musical entertainment and a variety of food.
Red Wing Arts Association invites your application for the 51st Red Wing Festival of the Arts held in historic Red Wing, Minnesota.

The show is open to artists doing original work only, in all media. (No imports, mass produced items or kit produced designs will be allowed.) The composition of the jury changes each year, and their decision is final.

Please submit one digital image of your booth and four digital images representing what you intend to display. For example, if your category is fiber and you will be displaying clothing and fiber jewelry, you must submit at least one jewelry image and one clothing image. The booth image is to confirm that you have a professional display and are adequately prepared for an outdoor show.

Please note any special requests for booth space (double booth, corner booth, same booth space as last year, specific space request). When booth assignments are made these requests will be considered on a first come, first serve basis.

Awards will be presented in recognition of the highest creativity and quality shown by exhibitors in their artwork and booth display. Best of Show and two awards of Merit are awarded at the Artist Dinner Saturday evening of the Festival.

Rules/Regulations
Artists themselves, or immediate family members, must be present to exhibit. No agents or substitutes will be permitted in place of the artist. Family member exhibitors must have prior approval before set-up.

Artists must exhibit both days. Failure to display both days may result in disqualification from future festivals.

Artists must supply their own props and display materials. All extra equipment must be kept out of sight. This is an outdoor fair and displays must be sturdy and weighted for outdoor conditions.

No early tear downs.

Exhibitors are responsible for collecting and reporting their own sales tax and must have a Minnesota State Tax ID Number. The Minnesota ST-19 Certificate of Sales Tax Compliance form will be sent with acceptance invitation and must be returned via email (info@rwarts.org) or mail (Fall Festival, Red Wing Arts Association, 418 Levee St., Red Wing, MN 55066) for participation to be confirmed..

All signage must be professional. The Fall Festival officials’ decisions are final. You may be asked to remove inappropriate signs or leave the show.

Red Wing Arts Association is not responsible for theft, loss or damage to artists’ property.

Booth Information
Space will be approximately 10 feet x 12 feet. Every effort will be made to maintain balance of media and high visibility for all exhibit spaces.

No electricity is available to vendors.

Booth fee is $200. 

Red Wing Arts Association members receive a $25 discount coupon towards booth fee when accepted.
