Event Summary
PALM BEACH CONTEMPORARY is a beautiful indoor show in a 50,000 sq. ft. convention hall featuring sculptural objects, functional art, wearable art/fashion accessories, jewelry, and a limited amount of 2D art. The 2017 show received rave reviews. Worth Ave. Magazine wrote: “This vibrant art show is the design and fashion event of the year….” Palm Beach Arts Paper wrote: “The well-curated Palm Beach Contemporary show…was a diverse representation of work, …a unifying theme…was one of transformation.” Local media called it “one of the top things to do” in Palm Beach Co. for March, and many attendees said they Googled “Things to do in W. Palm Beach” and we came up #1 in the search.

PALM BEACH CONTEMPORARY is produced by A&E Show Group, whose principals have a combined 30 years of experience in the art show business. We are committed to bringing only the ‘best of the best’ to the show and will select up to 135 top contemporary artists. A&E Show Group is committed to presenting a balanced group of artists. Our commitment to diversity in art and artists did not go unnoticed in 2017: “What a remarkable collection you put together. So much variety!” Barbara, Palm Beach/Hamptons. “So many new artists we had never seen before in Palm Beach. Great job!” Alice, Delray Beach. As one artist put it, “the ratio of buyers to attendees was the highest I have ever seen.”
We invite you to apply. Artists will be reviewed on a rolling basis and will be notified...

Palm Beach Contemporary is open to all artists who are residents of and working in the United States and Canada. Work must be produced by the artist or under their personal direct supervision. Work should be made by hand or with appropriate tools.

Eligible media categories include: basketry, ceramics, decorative fiber, furniture, glass, jewelry, leather, metal, 3D mixed media, 2D mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, paper, wearable art/fashion accessories, and wood.

Categories not accepted: soft sculptures; musical instruments; dried flower arrangements; pressed flowers; seed and pod decorations; cut bottles and embellished objects such as painted boxes, weather boards, stones, shells, buttons, decorated furniture and handmade reproductions. Objects made from commercial reproduction, commercial kits or commercially available plans are not acceptable.

Artists may only show work in categories represented on their entry. All work exhibited must be of the same body, quality, and category of work represented in digital images. When choosing a media category, allow the function of the work to determine the category rather than the material (i.e., metal furniture should apply in furniture and not in metal). If an individual artist or collaborating team is invited to display work in one category and wishes to display work in an additional category, the artist must call the show organizer to discuss the availability of space in the two separate media categories.
