Event Summary
The Bend Fall Festival celebrates local's favorite season of the year!  This festival is a valued tradition in Bend for 26 years. A strong Fine Artists Promenade, fall harvest activities, food, a harvest market, popular kids street with pumpkin painting and pony rides, two music stages and our Conscious Living street round out the program each year. This festival has our strongest attendance of families of the three seasonal festivals we produce.  

The Bend Fall Festival takes place in the heart of Downtown Bend and covers six city blocks.  Over 40,000 people attend throughout the weekend. 

General Information

This show accepts the following medium categories:

To expedite invitations, this show has a virtual jury who reviews and accepts applications ongoing until the show is filled.  A waitlist is managed with communication to the artist by September 21, 2017 of any open booth positions.

 

Artist amenities include an indoor breakroom with restrooms, snacks, breakfast items each morning, hot/cold water, coffee/tea service and Wi-Fi access throughout the festival weekend. 

 


Rules/Regulations

There is no booth sharing allowed.  Each booth must carry only the artist's handcrafted work that has been approved for inclusion in the festival.

 

Each artist is required to set up their own 10x10 or 10x20 tent that includes significant weights (cinder blocks) for each tent pole, and all cords must be fully taped down.

 

 Festival commission is 10% of gross sales at the conclusion of the festival, on Sunday, October 8th, 2017.  Artists are required to check out, pay by check or cash their festival commission, and are given a check out pass to be able to bring their vehicles on the grounds to load out. Artists are asked to pay the festival a 5% commission on custom orders that are received through the festival.

 

Receipt books are checked out to each artists at check in, prior to the festival start, and artists are required to complete a written receipt for each sale. These receipt books are tallied during check out.  It is the artist's responsibility to ensure that they always have enough receipt books based on sales volume throughout the festival weekend.   

 

Festival artist hours are:

 

October 7th - 11am - 6pm

October 8th - 11am - 5pm

 

There are no refunds for applications that are withdrawn. No shows will not be invited to participate in future festivals.

TO ENSURE TIMELY CONFIRMATION FOR ARTISTS PARTICIPATING IN THIS FESTIVAL, ACCEPTANCE AND PAYMENT IS DUE NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 5TH.  IF YOU HAVE BEEN INVITED, AND HAVE NOT ACCEPTED OR PAID BY THE 5TH, YOU WILL BE WAITLISTED SO THAT THE SECOND ROUND, OUTSIDE OF THE EARLY REGISTRATION WINDOW CAN BE CONFIRMED.

Arrival information is distributed to invited artisans at the end of September.  Booth assignments are given upon arrival.  Arrival begins at 5:30am on October 7th and load out begins at 5:30pm on October 8th.
