Event Summary
The 10th annual Art in Bayfront Park is a two-day art fair located on the beautiful Duluth lakefront. Art lovers find quality work from local and regional artist. Work includes jewelry, painting, photography, ceramics, metalwork, glass and more.  

Saturday, August 18 / 10 am - 5pm
Sunday, August 19 / 10 am - 5 pm

• LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION:  Bayfront Festival Park is located front and center of Duluth.
• QUALITY: 150 juried artists.
• EASY: Easy load-in and load-out with drive up access to most locations. Some space allow for trailers to remain behind booths. Booth set-up available Friday afternoon.
• ARTIST AMENITIES: NEW opportunity to stay in a University of Wisconsin-Superior dorm room for $20 - $30 per night! Only 9 minute drive to Bayfront Park. Convenient parking. Onsite overnight security Friday and Saturday nights. Booth sitter during fair hours. Artist demonstration opportunities. Overnight camping onsite with pre-approval. 
• LARGE SPACES: 10' x 12' booth space with ample storage behind spaces.
• AWARDS: $100 in each category plus free booth for following year's festival
•PROMOTION: Significant advertising, promotion in the North Shore communites and tourist audiences. Website and social media opportunities for artists.

CHECKLIST
  1. Completed application for each medium entered. Jury fee is due for each medium. 
  2. Four images of artist’s work and one booth image per media (a total of 5 images). To continue a fair jury process, photos cannot be labeled with names or references to the artist. All images must be from the current year and must not have been submitted to us from years prior.
  3. $25 NON-REFUNDABLE entry fee per media.


FESTIVAL FAVORITE AWARDS
  • $100 reward in each catagory
  • Automatic acceptance into the 2019 Art in Bayfront Park Art Fair.
  • Application fee waived for the 2019 art fair.
  • Marketing and publicity during and after the event.​


Rules/Regulations
​We are committed to treating all of our artists and their work professionally, with dignity, fairness and respect.
  • All artists must be onsite during the festival.
  • No sell through items. 
  • Artists may only sell items represented in their applicaiton and only sell items within the medium category they were juried into. 
  • Artists are responsible for proper insurance and protection of work and setup. Festival is not responsible for loss or damages. 
  • Artists are responsbile to collect and report sales tax. 
  • Artist booths must be open all hours of the festival. No late arrivals or early exits. Artist will not be invited back if this rule is broken.
  • Artists must provide a tent and setup that will withstand wind and rain. We can not allow artists to use a tent that seems unsafe for neighboring artists or attendees. If an artist wants to rent a tent from our vendor, we can assist in that process. 
Art in Bayfront Park Policies
  • Alcoholic beverages are sold only in the beer and wine gardens and must be consumed in these areas. To purchase alcoholic beverages patrons must be 21 years and older presenting valid identification.
  • We encourage biking to the Fair. Once you arrive, bicycles and skateboards must be walked through the Fair site. Riding them through the Fair is prohibited because it may endanger or inconvenience the public attending the Fair.
  • The Fair reserves the right to decline admittance to anyone who violates the reasonable policies established for public safety or to restrict activities such as public access to designated areas.
  • No political, corporate or other outside solicitation is allowed within the Fair site without prior consent by the Fair.
  • No firearms or weapons allowed on the Fair site.
  • Dogs on leashes are welcome! If your dog doesn’t like crowds or other dogs, please leave them at home.
