General Information
Fine Art in the Park, July 14th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., is a family-friendly, artist focused event celebrating the grand re-opening of the historic Carnegie Library in Algona, Iowa.  It coincides with our Founder's Day Celebration, which attracts thousands of visitors each year.  It is a rich blend of visual and performing arts on the shaded lawn of the Carnegie Library, new home to the Stinson Prairie Arts Council.  Children are encouraged to buy art at the Junior's Art Gallery and create art in the Junior's Art Tent, allowing their parents time to shop for treasures to take home.  The Early Patron/Sponsor Purchase Program and our extensive advertising accentuates our community's commitment to a successful event.  We provide spacious booths (most in the shade), night before set up, assistance unloading and loading, overnight security, nearby parking, an air-conditioned Artist Refresh Room, complimentary cold water, Booth Sitters and a Bed & Breakfast Program which provides free lodging.  You'll find our staff friendly, well organized and attentive.

Rules/Regulations
Artists must be present for the duration of the event.  Only original work designed by the artist may be sold.  If you need to cancel your participation on or before June 14, you will be refunded the booth fee minus a $25 processing fee.  Cancelations after June 14 will not recieve a refund.
