Event Summary

April 27 & 28, Check-in on Friday night & Saturday morning.
Festival hours: Saturday 9 - 5 and Sunday 10 - 4

The TroyFest Art & Craft Festival, held in honor of Jean Lake, is the premier fine art & craft festival for the central Alabama region. The weekend-long show draws upwards of 10,000 people to downtown Troy to celebrate the arts. A wonderful selection of art, food, entertainment and activities are offered for people of all ages.

Each year artists enjoy returning to this festival that draws a great crowd of art-loving Southerners. The festival committee prides itself in spoiling our vendors with the very best hospitality and amentities along with awarding great cash awards. The committee spends more than $10,000 (along with in-kind donations) on media placements and promotions for the festival. Many of our festival attendees brag on being repeat attendees and wouldn't miss the yearly festival rain or shine. Our patron purchase program sells at least $10,000 prior to the festival, guaranteeing at least that much in artist sales.

General Information

TroyFest prides itself as being one of the "most vendor friendly festivals" around. Each year, we graciously receive compliments on our unsurpassed hospitality and friendly atmosphere.
Artist Amenities Include:
1  $4,000 in Juried Cash Awards
2  Friends of Jean Lake Purchase Program (approx. $5,000 in guaranteed art sales!)

10 Best of Show receives solo one-month exhibit and opening reception at the Johnson Center for the Arts the following year. (*Pending renewal agreement with Johnson Center)

JEAN LAKE FOLK ART- $500 Art that can be described as self-taught, outside, primitive or visionary and whose original work evokes southern heritage in their medium of choice. 
Winner must be registered in the Folk Art Category.

Longest Distance Traveled  - $125                                                                             


TroyFest exhibiting artists are exclusive to handcrafted, original works of art (artists’ prints permitted) and all artists must be accepted to exhibit. Exhibitors are selected by a jury committee, based on submitted images and application. Qualifications include quality, originality and creativity. A limited number of artists per category will be accepted to provide a balanced show. Booth space is assigned based on category and receipt of completed application and fees. Items must be made by artist exhibiting at the show. No commercially made items allowed!

Booth Information

A non-refundable jury fee of $15 is required for each entry form/category submitted. Credit cards will be accepted through Zapplication. If accepted during the jury process, you will be expected to immediately purchase your booth space.

$125 artist booth space 10’ w x15’ d, out- door, includes vending permit
$75 for additional spaces (can not be shared or juried with separate artists)
$75 electricity (Only One 115 Volt 15 Amp Circuit per booth) VENDORS responsible for power cords (50’-100’ all weather power cords suggested). 
First - Round Jury Selections: March 11 - If you have your application submitted prior to February 10, you will be juried in the first round of selections and be notified earlier than the second round of jury selections. 

Application Deadline: March 3.

Late Application: Applications will be considered after March 15 when a late fee of $50 is paid. There are no guarantees for late applicants, even to previous vendors.
