Event Summary
Owl-O-Ween Hot Air Balloon Festival is the only one of its type in the metro Atlanta area and features the Artists Alley, Live Entertainment, Hot Air Balloon Glow, Tethered Balloon Rides, Trick-or-Treating (at the balloons) Costume Showdown, Roving Performers, Interactive Kids Zone, Merchant Marketplace, Food Court and so much more!!!!!  The park's highly skilled staff joins together to produce this one-of-a-kind hot air balloon festival bringing smiles to each guest, young and old.  www.owl-o-ween.com.   Anticipated attendance is 45,000 and grows every year! Past years artists surveys indicated great results!

The Artist Alley located in the center of the festival will feature the best of the best art and craft artists.  The location allows for great foot traffic and the opportunity to experience the balloon glow first hand. Located in Kennesaw Georgia, the 88-acre Kennesaw State Sports & Entertainment Park is home to many festivals as well as college and professional sporting events.

General Information
Jewelry, Ceramics/Pottery, Painting, Photography, Glass and Metal Works, Textile, Wood, Crafts and other Hand Crafted items.  Artists may only show and sell work from the category in which they have been accepted. Artwork and booth submitted photos must be representative of display and art offered for sale. Festival organizers reserve the right to ask the artist to remove items not representative of art submitted for jury process/acceptance.  All items must be handcrafted.

Artists placed on the wait list will be notified via email.  As space becomes available, artists will be pulled from the list based on "like art" for the vacated space.  

The artist must arrive on time and stay for the duration of the festival.  Artists may not open their booth late or close early.  No agents, dealers, or representative may attend in place of the artist.  Only one artist may display in a booth unless the work produced is a collaboration of two artists.  Artists may bring 1 additional helper.

Artists are encouraged to get in the spirit, and dress up for Halloween (designed for the young children, nothing gory or scary) and Trick out your booth.  You may also hand out candy to Trick or Treaters.
Artists must park in the free artist parking (trailers and vehicles) area. 
Pets, smoking or firearms.
Vendors may leave their equipment on-site overnight, within their assigned space. The Festival will provide overnight security.  Neither Owl-O-Ween, nor any of the event producers are responsible for any items left on-site.
The Owl-O-Ween Hot Air Balloon Festival and its organizers do not warrant or guarantee any particular results of the Festival, nor does it guarantee a particular number of attendees or exhibitors.

Kennesaw State University Sports + Entertainment Park, 3200 George Busbee Pkwy, Kennesaw GA 30144. 

Submit signed application, jury/application check and booth check (must be separate checks).  Include 5 photos (4X6 only), one photo of the studio or workstation (tools, supplies, work area should be seen), one of the outdoor booth display and three photos of the individual art pieces and a self addressed stamped envelope or via Zapplication. 

Accepted artists understand and agree that the show promoter may use images of their work for the sole purpose of marketing the event. 
Non-refundable Jury/application -$25.00. Jury checks will be deposited when the application is received.

Tent weighting is mandatory (ABSOLUTELY, NO TENT STAKING)!  All booths are located on concrete. Artists must furnish their own tent, display tables, skirting, & chairs.  All displays must be designed and constructed to be aesthetically pleasing, and all sales and promotional activities must be confined to artist’s assigned space.  One 20-amp outlet will be provided to each booth.  The artist must provide the extension cord and appropriate lighting for the booth.

DEADLINE:  Must be postmarked or posted in Zapplication by September 18, 2018
NOTIFICATION:  Notification by September 25, 2018 
Checks (include with mail-in application) or Zapplication (posted by the end of the day on September 18, 2018).  A $50.00 charge will be assessed for all returned checks.

The event will be held rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, the festival management team will make the final determination of continuance of the Festival.   

Set up is either Thursday, October 18 or Friday, October 19, 2018.  Artists will be assigned a set up time that fits their schedule and will be given 30 minutes to unload.  All vehicles must be removed from the festival area and returned to the artists parking area.  Vehicles will not be permitted into the festival site 3 hours prior to the start of the event.  Booths must be fully operational by 6:00 p.m. on Friday and 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.  Tear down can begin at 11:00 p.m., however vehicles are not permitted in the area until festivals guests are gone and the area is secured for vehicle traffic.
