All proceeds from exhibitors’ sales go to the participating artist. Exhibitors are responsible for their own transactions, including sales tax. The PAA offers a Visa/MasterCard/AMEX service for a 5% service fee.

The PAA provides overnight, on-site security. However, the PAA cannot assume any liability for loss or damage to displays of art for any reason.

Exhibitors should understand that this is an outdoor art festival and, as such, will continue even during inclement weather. Unless the Festival Committee cancels the event, any artist who leaves before the Festival closes without consent of the committee will forfeit the space and booth fee. Artists must remain on the Festival site until the weather passes or the Festival Committee advises otherwise and return to their tent until the Festival closes.

High standards are key to the success and the community outreach mission of the PAA and the Paseo Arts Festival. The jurors will consider numerous aspects of the work submitted, including craftsmanship, design, creativity and presentation.

In lieu of awards, the money will be directed to the Artist Breakfast on Sunday, May 27.

The Paseo Arts Association, a non-profit 501©(3), will enrich, educate, and inspire the public through the arts.

The Paseo was developed by Oklahoman G.A. Nichols in 1929 as the first shopping district north of downtown Oklahoma City. The curved, two-block street has maintained its Spanish revival architecture with original stucco buildings and clay tile roofs still intact. The Paseo is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and the arts have always been a part of the Paseo. The Elm’s, a resident art gallery and studio built in 1920 (located at 27th and Walker), was the first Oklahoma City artist studio and gallery. In the 1950's, the Paseo was home to small businesses, student partying and jazz clubs. The 1960’s brought the counter culture with its creativity. The Paseo began its transition into an arts district in the 1970's. The first annual Paseo Arts Festival was held Memorial Day Weekend in 1977 and the Paseo Arts Association was formed in 1982 to organize and further energize its place as Oklahoma’s arts district. Today, a vibrant group of artists with substantial involvement and support from the larger community continues to build the Paseo Arts District into one of the most creative art venues in the country. In October 2010, the American Planning Association named the Paseo as one of the Top Ten Neighborhoods in the United States. That was due in large part to the fact that the Paseo is home to over 20 galleries and more than 80 artists, all within walking distance. Intermingled with the galleries are fabulous restaurants, shopping, nonprofit organizations, and other businesses.

The Paseo Arts Association (PAA) reserves the right to use Festival artists' images for public relations purposes. The last day to withdraw without forfeiting the exhibition fee is April 2, 2018. ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS AFTER THIS DATE.

Booth signage and nametags will be found in the artist packet and usage is mandatory. Packets are available upon check in.
