Event Summary
Casa Grande Main Street Fine Art Explosion

We would like to invite you to join us for the 12th Annual Casa Grande Fine Art Explosion on March 8th, 9th, and 10th, 2019 in Casa Grande, Arizona. Our event has been established as one of the unique shows of this nature in our region, with attendance estimated at 2,000 for the 3 day event.
 
We encourage you to get your application in early and no later than February 1st for your favorite location.   Acceptance notification will be available through our online ZAPP application system. Should you prefer postal or email response, please note in special request section.

General Information

Please read the following material carefully.
This is a juried event, with only Fine Art being displayed for sale. All mediums are welcome in both 2D and 3D. This is our 12th year and the show is well attended. The Venue is a tree lined city park located in center of town, with grassy tent areas and paved walkways. Our Show provides assistance in loading in and out. Event Show Hours a "Preview Night" from 5PM-8PM Friday March 8th will be available for exhibitors who wish to greet concert goers during "Party in the Park" Saturday March 9th 9am to 5pm and Sunday March 10th 9am to 4pm. There is plenty of FREE parking for both vendors and clients.
We will have lodging discounts available.
 
 This is a juried show. All items must be created by the artist and no buy/sell items are allowed.
Prints and reproductions are allowed, but only 10% of the inventory may be displayed as reproductions.
 
CHECK IN AND SET-UP:
  • CHECK IN BEGINS FRIDAY MARCH 8th FROM 10PM TO 5PM TO PREVENT CONFLICT WITH CONCERT TRAFFIC ON FRIDAY NIGHT.
  • PLEASE PLAN TO BE SET-UP BY 5PM OR WAIT UNTIL SATURDAY MORNING FOR SET-UP.
  • EXHIBITORS MUST RECEIVE THEIR REGISTRATION PACK AND BOOTH NUMBER BEFORE SET-UP.
  • NO SET UP WITHOUT A BOOTH NUMBER BEING DISPLAYED. Volunteer Ambassadors and carts will be available to help you locate your space.
  • Convenient parking for check-in is available at the Casa Grande Public Library ( Address 449 N Drylake St. Casa Grande, AZ 85122 )
  • All vehicles will not be able to unload or load on venue grounds. Volunteers will be around to help the artists.
OVERNIGHT PATROLS: We will have CGPD Citizens on Patrol Friday night from 6:00pm until 6:00am Sat. Morning and Saturday night from 6pm until Sunday morning at 6:00am. You will however, leave your merchandise at your own risk and we cannot take responsibility for items left onsite.

Private Restrooms:  Will be located In Peart Center Building for Artists only.

Electricity: There is no electricity provided.  Please do not plug into any electrical outlets on the street lamps as it will cause the lamp breaker to go off.
                                                                             
HOSPITALITY: An artist's lounge is available to all participants during the show.  Also private restrooms are provided.  Snacks and water will be available during the show hours.  There  will be a hot catered lunch for all participants both days of the show.

Rules/Regulations
  • Set up time Friday March 8th 10am to 5pm / Saturday March 9th at 6am to 8am
  • All Exhibitors must have a flame resistance treatment and certification for canopy/tents.
  • Vendors need to be ready to go for the public at 9am
  • No Motorized cars on the venue grounds, there will be volunteers that will help unload and load for the artists.
  • All items must be created by the artists and no buy/sell items are allowed.
  • Spaces are outdoors on green grass.
  • Fire retardent tents and weights are required for Fine Art Explosion exhibitors. ALL TENTS MUST BE WHITE, ABSOLUTELY NO STAKING
  • Roaming volunteer patrols will be onsite during the overnight hours, but each exhibitor is responsible for his/ her own items and space. CGPD Citizens on Patrol will be onsite Friday night from 6 pm to 6 am Saturday morning. Saturday evening 6 pm to 6 am Sunday morning. Exhibitors leave merchandise at their own risk.
  • Exhibitors are responsible for collecting, reporting and paying city and state sales tax. Included your Arizona State and City of Casa Grande license numbers on this application. Links are available on application page. 
  • No merchandise outside the booth area.  
  • NO WATER OR ELECTRICITY PROVIDED
  • Tear down is not to be started before 4pm on Sunday.
  • No live animal sales.
  • A registered exhibitor must be on duty in the booth at all times of the fair operation.
  • No pets are allowed at booth sites.
  • No raffles except by nonprofit with permission.
  • Personal conduct, rule violations, complaints from patrons as to misconduct during the fair may be grounds for removal by fair officials.
  • Any reports of orders taken and not fulfilled by an exhibitor will deem them to be removed from future events and possible charges filed.
  • No refunds due to exhibitor cancellation after Feb. 8th, 2019.
  • We are a non-profit organization. The event will be held rain or shine.
  • NO REFUNDS DUE TO WEATHER
