Event Summary
The 2019 Fine Art Fine Wine Fair is a juried fine art show located on the beautiful 30+ acre boarding school campus of St Mary's in Orchard Lake, Michigan. Our site sits amidst old trees and buildings from the 1800's and overlooks Orchard Lake. Consumers will be able to purchase wine as the stroll the beautiful setting to purchase art. Artists booths are limited to approximately 85 spaces. Please submit high quality images.

Saturday June 22nd 11am - 7pm
Sunday June 23rd Noon - 6pm

Set-up is all day Friday June 21st. Time slots and details will be given about ten days prior to the event. All artists must set up on Friday as Saturday is set-up for the wineries only. Specific details will be sent to admitted artists.

Jurying will begin March 2nd and should complete by March 7th. Artists will be notified by March 15th.

$25 non-refundable application fee is due with registration application.

If you are applying to two categories, you will be required to submit two application fees and two sets of images. Please note that you may be accepted in one, none, or both categories.

Work must be hand crafted by the artist. No work is allowed from commercial methods, including commercially made molds and kits. All work in the show must be representative of the slides submitted to jury.

Painters, Illustrators, 2D mixed media artists may sell reproductions of their original work in signed and numbered limited editions not exceeding 250 of a single work. Reproductions must be archival, matted, & unframed and may not exceed 24"x40", or professional archival prints on aluminum. You must provide clear details on the reproduction process. All reproductions must be clearly marked. Only one reproduction bin is allowed per 10'x10' booth. If you have need for more reproduction work to sell than these guidelines state, please contact Karyn at 734-476-1772 to discuss your process and other details to determine whether or not you should submit your application.

Handcrafted pottery, stone, screenprinting, or other items considered original multiples must be properly registred, numbered, & signed. No more than 250 per limited edition. Functional pottery/ceramics, such as mugs & tiles, are considered a fine craft and may be exhibited in multiples.

Jewelers must fabricate all their own forms, findings, and settings. No commercially fabricated items allowed. Only jewelers accepted into the show may sell any jewelry. If you have questions please contat us at contact.fafwf@gmail.com

Photographers must make their own prints processed from their own negatives, or use professional print processors on large scale materials such as aluminum, glass, acrylic, or canvas. All must be signed and numbered in limitied editions not to exceed 250 per image. Booth walls must contain framed or professional edged photographs only.

All 2D media must be ready to hang or framed and matted and displayed properly on screens and stands.

Leatherwork must be crafted by hand. No machine-screened patterns, machine-tooling, or other mass production methods allowed. If you have questions please contact us at contact.fafwf@gmail.com

All artists must be present at the fair during show hours to represent their booth. No agents allowed. Artist must be able to show photo ID the day of show to be in compliance. Exceptions may only be made in case of physical illness or other limitation and must be granted in advance with written permission from the show director.

All artists must respect and adhere to the regulations and terms of the venue, the event, staff, and volunteers.

All artists agree to show only their orginal artwork representative of the images provided to the jury.

All artists must have white, fire retardant, properly weighted tents. If you have a need for a different tent for artistic reasons, please contact us at contact.fafwf@gmail.com

All artists agree to be postitive, respectful, and professional and adhere to the rules and regulations of the event, venue, staff and volunteers.

All artists agree to be present and represent their own work during all fair hours.

You agree to the right of the event to photograph your space during the fair, and the use of submitted application images, to use in promotional materials for this year and future years.

Security will be furnished during hours closed, but the event, promoters, staff, and venue are not liable for any losses or damages occuring on the grounds at any time.

All artists agree to indeminfy and hold harmless Art as Healing Foundation, Art Fair Fun, St Mary's, Orchard Lake Schools, and all staff. You understand that none of these entities are responsible for any losses or damages to work, personal injury or property damage, nor will any legal action be taken against them or their agents.

All artists will furnish a copy of their liability insurance and name Art Fair Fun and Orchard Lake Schools as co-insured for the event. {We can recommend an event insurance company if needed.}

Refunds are not given. This is a rain or shine event. Any medical emergency must be submitted in writing with doctors note for consideration.

Booth Information
This is an outdoor event. You must bring your own fire retardant white tent, displays, panel walls, weights, extension cords, & anything else you need to operate your booth. Unweighted or improperly weighted tents will not be accepted as it poses a potential danger for the other artists and the customers.
