Event Summary
We invite you to apply for the 20th annual Loring Park Art Festival, to be held July 27 & 28, 2019 in beautiful Loring Park near downtown Minneapolis, MN.

Wildflowers and formal gardens make this an idyllic setting for art, music, food and entertainment.  Circling the large pond in Loring Park, the work of 140 juried fine artists and fine craftspeople is showcased.  It is a beautiful urban setting with phenomenal art in every medium.

The Loring Park Art Festival is coordinated by Artists for Artists, a partnership of experienced artists, whose goal is to provide an opportunity to exhibit and sell work in an atmosphere designed with the artist in mind. Rated one of the ‘100 best fine art shows’ in Sunshine Artist Magazine since 2004.

Show dates:

Saturday, July 27  10-6
Sunday, July 28  10-5
Application Procedure

You must submit four images of your work and one of your booth display. If you wish to exhibit/sell work in two media (i.e. painting and jewelry) you must submit four images and an application fee for each medium - (limit two mediums per booth).
  • Note: If you exhibit glass made into jewelry, wood made into jewelry, etc., then your category is jewelry and you must apply in the jewelry category. Only artists accepted in the jewelry category may display and sell jewelry. If you are accepted in any other category, you cannot sell jewelry in your booth if you have not juried in the jewelry category.
  • Note: You may apply in two mediums from just one profile. This eliminates the need for you to maintain separate profiles if you regularly submit applications in more than one medium category to our show. Log in to your ZAPP account, apply, and check out as normal. Repeat for each additional category in which you are applying.  You can not apply more than once in the same category - you may only apply twice if you have TWO different mediums you want to exhibit and sell.

It is in the artists’ best interest to have clearly focused, well lit images on a neutral background.
Jurors decisions are based solely on work presented in the four images and booth image.

The booth image should be an actual photo of your entire outdoor booth as it will look at our show. It should show your body of work, dimension and scale of work and professionalism of display.  Artist's name or business name should not appear on the booth image.

In the area titled 'Description of Material and Technique', please provide a brief statement that describes your materials and techniques. It should be concise in explaining your body of work. This statement will be read by the jurors.

Work is juried in the order the application is received.  If you apply and find that you have some new work or a better image before the deadline date, you can contact us to update your images.

Participation is open to all artists, 18 years of age and older. All work must be the artist’s own and original in concept, design and execution. Any work made with the use of commercial kits, molds incl. green ware or is mass produced, will not be accepted.  Absolutely no buy/sell items, imports, work from kits, commercial designs or non-original promotional items.  Jewelry findings should be handmade by the artist - manufactured clasps and chain are acceptable. It is our intent for artists to manufacture the majority or primary focus of their work.

Exhibitor Regulations and Obligations

  • Exhibiting artists must be present for the duration of the show and booths must remain open during show hours.
