Event Summary

Celebrating our 42nd year, the Lakewood Arts Festival will take place on Saturday, August 3, 2019 in Lakewood, Ohio.  The festival is a juried exhibition of all media in fine arts and crafts and will feature over 160 artists from across the country and over 30 additional booths operated by various not-for-profit organizations and offering food, beverages, products and activities for children.  In addition, live music will be performed throughout the day.  Attendance at this festival averages 15,000 visitors each year.

The purpose of the one-day festival is to promote and encourage the arts in Lakewood, a community located along the shores of Lake Erie, as well as to share the exhibitors’ exciting talents and expertise with our friends throughout the country.  As a proud supporter of arts education, the Lakewood Arts Festival Board awards over $9000 in scholarships and grants each year.

The main street in the downtown business district will be closed to traffic and will be the site for our exhibitors. The festival is held outdoors and each artist should be prepared with adequate booth display covering in the event of inclement weather.

The Lakewood Arts Festival is presented by The Lakewood Downtown Arts Festival Inc. and the City of Lakewood.
