Event Summary

We are proud to present the 19th annual Arts at the Gardens--a juried fine art and craft show and sale to raise funds for Sonnenberg Gardens & Mansion.

This show will take place Saturday, August 17th & Sunday, August 18th, 2019. It will be held on the grounds of the historic Sonnenberg Gardens & Mansion in Canandaigua, New York. The two-day event is open to applicants throughout the U.S. and Cananda.

The show is set in the gardens of this splendid 50-acre Victorian estate. It is distinctive for its extraordinary collection of period architecture, garden statuary, themed gardens of the world, and a 100 year old Greenhouse Complex.

Canandaigua is located just 7 miles south of the New York Thruway in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region, providing easy access to Sonnenberg from the metropolitan areas of Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse. This well-established event is promoted extensively to ensure the greatest number of visitors each year. A $10 gate fee is charged to visitors.

All proceeds benefit Sonnenberg Gardens & Mansion. While Sonnenberg operates as a state park, it is an independent non-profit organization responsible for generating its own funding for operations and renovations. Sonnenberg relies on visitor admissions, memberships, events, donations, gift and wine sales and grants to preserve public access to the estate. Each year, Sonnenberg hosts more than 40,000 visitors and offers educational seminars, summer camps, humanities programming, and community events.
